Looks like not just me behind on my upload, it was surprised to found this double cherry tree also bloomed about ten days ago, later than most of the cherry blossoms.
♥ Thank you very much for your visits, faves, and kind comments ♥
David was so excited to welcome his cousin, Drake home. Drake disembarked from the USS Bearington in New Orleans. Timing was perfect so that we could pick him up. He and David had a lot of catching up to do, and we are all enjoying his stories of being at sea!
Last fall we met up with a friend that we hadn't seen in many years. Last weekend we all met up in Nags Head for a long weekend. Place was much but it was right on the beach. A cold winter weekend at the beach is better than no weekend at the beach.
Woke up for no reason around 4 in the morning and went to the balcony, sat in a chair and listened to the rainfall. It was raining very heavily.
I took this around 5 on the roof as i was brushing my teeth to get ready to go to college.
Taken at Aeternus Paradisus. Catching up with an old friend (Aria, who Flickr refuses to let me tag) and sharing some questionable lukewarm yellow drink she says was lemonade… but oddly wouldn’t drink it herself.
86/365 I could smell the ocean in the air, so I snapped this shot. This is the beach grass I planted to have a little piece of the Cape with me at home.
Mission bay, in the middle of summer. The most amazing day, there were thunder clouds about 400 meters away and we could hear the thunder and see the lightening but it just didnt come near us.
Today was a day to catch up with all my old friends from my last school. Most of them i hadnt seen in over a year and it was just the perfect day. I spent months planning this and am so glad it turned out.
These two ladies had the beach to themselves......after I left. Southern Shores, NC on the Outer Banks. Have a great Sunday and thanks for the look.
DDC-Dear Diary
My mom says, now that I'm 14 I spend a lot of time sleeping because this is one of the best ways to catch up on my energy!
87/365 After cycling my tank for a month, I was finally able to add fish. This is our clown loach. His name is Glubby. We also have an albino cory catfish named Mr. Hyde and a peppered cory catfish named Dr. Jekyl. I'm going to try to add some tiger barbs this weekend.
So 245 photos (all didn't work out so I had to edit the best of those shots together in Photoshop.

A couple of friends of mine visiting from Chicago and just arrived from their vacation in Paris brought me some French macarons (these were just a few of the goodies they gave me) . They were really delicious. I almost finished a dozen when I suddenly remember to take a photo heeheehee.
It was awesome catching up with my friends (knew them since college) over tea and sweet treats :) I will drive them around LA, good timing too that their visit happen to be on a long weekend (it's a holiday here in the U.S. on Monday - Memorial Day). Yay!! :-)
Have a good one dear friends!! Do something fun this weekend or something you haven’t done for a change. Enjoy some sunshine and feel the gentle breeze!! ;-)

"A happy New Year!
Grant that I
May bring no tear to any eye
When this New Year in time shall end
Let it be said I've played the friend,
Have lived and loved and labored here,
And made of it a happy year."
