I followed this pigeon around the tree with my lens but he was determined to stay hidden!

Nice light this morning in Costessey on these beautiful waxwings.
Blackbird watching his winter larder disappearing :-)
One of thee images from 2013 revisited. This was the last time I managed to get up onto the Roaches. I felt the images warranted a review as a reminder to myself to push that recovery even further...to get back up on the hill tops.
Looks like its going to be a lovely sunny day for the wedding of Megan and Harry God bless them both

From sighting to catch in 1 second. We are fortunate to have an area below the nearby dam that has become a favorite place for the Eagles to stop and hang out in these cold winter months on their migration path. No, it's not like Alaska but to see upwards of 30 Bald Eagles fishing and playing along the river is pretty awesome. 4 frame composite.
I thought I was the only crazy one, but when I came out of the woods, who did I find? So many crazy people like me getting ready for a great job at the optical bench! Well done, that's how it's done!... But I'm going home now, this morning was cold and wet, I need a nice hot tea and the stove on!!!
Something very surreal about this. Colours and absence of rubber make it a very unusual object. Was planning on removing hand, but I felt it really worked in this shot.
From my third shoot with my new digital sound trigger. Playing with lighting and composition a bit more.
Strobist: SB600 on camera right, on 1/64th power. Retouching in Aperture, light colour correction.
