Back to the shore for landing, we have a closer view of the elaborate fishing catamaran moored at the bank. Balapitiya, Sri Lanka, June 2011.
With the deep blue water of Cozumel and the magnificent sky painting of nature, it is relatively easy to take a decent photo.....one simply has to press the shutter button....
They made an excellent fish and chicken lunch. All four of them were great fun and we left a good tip.
The Catamaran Tour included free drinks, snorkeling, dolphin petting and a lobster dinner on Cayo Blanco for a grand total of 8 hours.
A lone catamaran, seen from elephant back. My camera battery unfortunately died without warning at this point. Too bad, my SLR with full charge, plus a spare battery for the camera, plus an entire standby camera were all with me, but in the car, and we were already a good 10min into the ride, so we could not go back to retreive them. I had to abandon photography and simply enjoy the ride for the rest of the time. (Haberana, Sri Lanka, June 2011).
Jasper invited a couple of friends from way back for some boating and sailing. There was not much wind, but being on the water is never a bad thing.
