Passed this lovely boat on our meanderings yesterday. It seems to have an extra tall sail.
I wonder why I never see people taking pictures of our boat ... LOL
Happy sailing into the new week, my friends!

This is my minimalist Jervis Bay seascape with a catamaran - lol.
Today I travelled to the south coast of New South Wales to visit the coastal township of Huskisson, on Jervis Bay.
The highlight was a walk along Shark Net Beach with its pristine white, silky soft, sand. Oh, and a coffee and 'Rocky Road' chocolate dessert at the 'Five Little Pigs' cafe!!

Here are the last views of Portsmouth on return from our trip to the Isle of Wight in June.
Time to get up to leave the ferry as we are very close to the ferry terminal at Portsmouth Harbour. You can see the base of the Spinnaker Tower and a few of the many restaurants at Gun Wharf Quays.
Popular catamaran trips along the pond in Krasnogorsk near Moscow.
I personally don’t like it, the pond is very small and I like speed, but there is no arguing about tastes... to each his own.
I liked this colorful group like a flower :)
This type of vessel has been known since ancient times and was most widespread among the peoples of Oceania. According to ethnography and archeology, a catamaran, similar to the one that continues to be used in Polynesia, was the main means of settling its peoples by the 2nd millennium BC. e.

A breathtaking scene of natural beauty met these two boats. Port Angeles on the Juan De Fuca Strait between US and Canada.
Rigg bay, Garlieston
Yesterday we went to visit Galloway House gardens.
As we meandered around the paths of the wooded area we saw the beach.
The tide was out, and quite a way out was this catamaran, anchored down.
I said to Tracey that I’d like to photograph it against the blue sky. As we headed towards it a couple of people and their dog got off the boat and were walking towards us.
It wasn’t long before our dogs were running around and playing together on the sand.
We chatted with the couple, for about an hour, and they showed us around the catamaran.
They had sailed from Whitehaven, England, and stopped overnight here. When the tide was to come back in they were heading to Kirkcudbright.
It’s a small world. They were Lancastrians too, and live just 8 miles from us.

Tussen de strandhuisjes in en aan het begin van de Zandmotor liggen nog wat catamarans te wachten op een tochtje op zee.
Het is tegenwoordig een flinke wandeling voordat je bij de branding bent.
