Lead cast objects with 9 ct. gold detail on hand cast concrete square
After casting lead, adding a bit of gold seemed the next logical step.
The shadows in the snow caught my eye as I drove by this scene... edited to increase the contrast with the white snow.
Standing at the edge of hisoric Greyfriars Kirkyard, where it borders the posh George Heriot's School (which looks remarkably like if Hogwart's had an Edinburgh branch). The spring sun was casting this magnificently large, sharp shadow of the iron gate, onto the path of the cemetery, it was begging for a monochrome shot.
From the archives.....early evening settles in at Vermillion Lakes in Banff National Park. A great spot to enjoy any morning or evening with a chain of three small lakes surrounded by majestic peaks that cast some of the most beautiful reflections when conditions are right :-)
