The vacuum casting, as this name indicates, is casting method which the major processes including the melting, pouring, solidifying are performed inside the vacuum chamber. The vacuum is able to minimum the gas content of the product, and prevent further oxidation happening to the metal. This is a quite expansive technic, manufacturing the special alloy steel and oxidate-like titanium casting part can use this method to achieve a very high specification requirements.
The Methods Of Vacuum Die Casting
The vacuum die casting is further modified technic to the vacuum casting. It is die casting method but the main process performs after a certain degree of vacuum building up. The degree of vacuum is about to be 50~80 kPa. In practice, there're 2 major kind of method for the vacuum die casting:
1. using a vacuum cover seal the mold. The cover take the whole mold closed, and pump out the air inside, then do the die casting works.
2. the vacuum is created by the help the mold parting surface. There is specific designed air vent groove in the mold which connected with the vacuum system. When the injection plunger close the pouring gate, the air pump works to create the vacuum to a certain degree, then the die casting works could be conducted.

Everyone leaves. Hardly anyone ever stays. Not in these parts, at least. Not with the melodramatic murmurings of a suburban town with too little to do and not enough to contain, with restaurants that close at 10pm on weekends and stoplights that flash red, red, red all night, every night. Why would you stay? There is nothing here. Nothing, except for me. You get in a car, or on a plane, and then you’re miles away, hundreds of them. I imagine you to be somewhere more fashionable. Somewhere with city lights, lots of them, brightly gleaming, casting rings of shadows atop your hair. Where you are, there are probably late-night diners serving corn beef hash for cheap, perhaps even flashy cinemas with neon signs and bowling alleys and beer, lots of beer. Where you are, there are probably laughs, deep-throated chuckles and toothy grins, cheap entertainment, video games and ritzy promenades, snow, palm trees, sand.
But everyone leaves. Maybe you should stay. I think you should. Stay. Won’t you?
Stay. For yelp runs on rainy days and caffeinated nights. For indoor board games and home-bound concoctions. For morning fog and heartbeats competing with the pattering of nighttime rain on car windows.
Stay.

Greek Mythology
AMPHITRITE Goddess of the Sea In ancient Greek mythology, Amphitrite was a sea-goddess and wife of Poseidon.[1] Under the influence of the centaur Olympian pantheon, she became merely the consort of Poseidon, and was further diminished by poets to a symbolic representation of the sea. In Roman mythology, the consort of Neptune.
Amphitrite was a daughter of Nereus and Doris (and thus a Nereid), according to Hesiod's Theogony, but of Oceanus and Tethys (and thus an Oceanid), according to the Bibliotheca, which actually lists her among both the Nereids[3] and the Oceanids.[4] Others called her the personification of the sea itself (saltwater). One of Amphitrite's Oceanid sisters is Perse, (wife of Helios). Amphitrite's offspring included seals[5] and dolphins.[6] Poseidon and Amphitrite had a son, Triton who was a merman, and a daughter, Rhode (if this Rhode was not actually fathered by Poseidon on Halia or was not the daughter of Asopus as others claim). Bibliotheca (3.15.4) also mentions a daughter of Poseidon and Amphitrite named Benthesikyme.

Casting Crowns CD Release Party
Casting Crowns launches new CD
By Jason A. Smith
jsmith@henryherald.com
Megan McLain, of Jonesboro, said she came to see Casting Crowns because of the “inspirational” message the band conveys in its music.
“It’s a good wake-up call,” she said of the Grammy-winning group’s collection of songs. “It really makes you think, ‘Am I being effective as a Christian?’”
McLain was part of a standing-room-only crowd of fans who celebrated the release, Wednesday, of the band’s third CD, “The Altar and the Door,” at a concert at Eagle’s Landing First Baptist Church in McDonough.
Throughout the show, lead singer Mark Hall — who is also the youth leader at Eagle’s Landing — told the crowd how the CD came together, all the while emphasizing the band members’ view of music as a ministry.
“We were not setting out to make music,” he told the crowd. “We set out to say something. Music is the vehicle.”
The message seemed to resonate with 16-year-old Jake Lothes, of Jackson. He said he didn’t know a lot about Casting Crowns before he was invited to the concert by friends, but that he liked what he heard at the show.
“I like their sound and what they sing about,” he said. “It’s all about praising God.”
Hall said the band members draw from their own experiences to create their music.
“We sing about the things we’re struggling with, and for some reason, people identify with it,” he said.
Among the songs the band performed during the concert was the title track of their latest CD, which is about a Christian’s struggle to maintain a spiritual commitment after exiting a church building.
“Right here in the church, everything makes sense,” he said.
Tom Chitwood, 44, of McDonough said he and his family attend Eagle’s Landing and have followed the band’s career since its beginning. He said he appreciates the authenticity and openness of the band members, particularly Hall.
“Mark is what he sings,” Chitwood said. “He’s sincere, he’s humble and he’s genuine.”
Like Chitwood, Marcie Lunsford of McDonough said she knew the band members in their early days. She said they have remained “down to earth” and continue to impact the lives of young people, like her 16-year-old son Jacob.
“They’ve just been a remarkable influence and inspiration to my son, as well as to the youth group,” she said. “It’s amazing what they pour into these kids.”
The Rev. Dan Holley, pastor of Austin Oaks Baptist Church in Ellenwood, said many in his congregation came to see Casting Crowns play Wednesday, and to fellowship with other Christians.
“It was important for us to come to worship together with other churches, and see what the Lord’s doing here,” he said.
Casting Crowns’ lead guitarist, Juan DeVevo of McDonough, said Eagle’s Landing was the perfect place to launch their new CD.
“This is home for us,” said DeVevo, 31. “We have four churches represented in the band, and all were represented here.”
He dismissed the characterization that the band is a bunch of “rock stars.”
“I don’t think of myself as being that cool,” he said, adding that staying active in their respective churches and youth groups keeps them “accountable” to other Christians.
Bass guitarist Chris Huffman said playing for the people at Eagle’s Landing helped him keep a proper perspective.
“They know we’re not rock stars,” he said. “We get to play music for a living. That’s really it.”

This is the new poster for a casting call me and my group will do for a future film. We had a simple concept and i feel like we got it.
This is for a 1931 MG C type, it is supercharger housing. We are casting these for a customer. This is the First on that was cast in the lab at school. Yes it was I who made the mold.

A different end-of-the-day light. Africa, of course. In the middle of Botswana. One of the flatter landscape in the whole world.
For this episode of Room 205, the Polish-born director Monika Lenczewska, Belarusian visual artist Yelena Zhelezov, and Manchester-bred set designer Tamarra Younis have joined forces to create a shimmering dream world of golden gauze, floating spheres, and abstract colored light projections inhabited by wooden folk puppets and special musical guest Craft Spells.
BIO
Toward the end of 2009, in a bedroom in Stockton, CA, a 21-year-old Justin Vallesteros began layering simple synth and guitar lines to create the sound that would become Craft Spells. What began as an experiment soon became a vibrant world of elegant guitar chords laced over looped rhythms, heavenly synth melodies, and pulsating bass. When Vallesteros recorded his first track "Party Talk,” an outpouring of online enthusiasm led him to return to his native Seattle and flesh out a full band for the debut LP Idle Labor, released on Captured Tracks in Spring 2011. If you love Felt, The Smiths, Echo & The Bunnymen, and the beautiful monotone drone of Ian Curtis... Craft Spells might soon be your favorite nuevo-new romantics.
