Here's the difference between the three most common types of instant film used nowadays.
On the left is the now defunkt Polaroid 600 film. Note the slightly off tone colour. It's less punchy than you'd expect, but has a nice retro feel to it. Some people prefer this.
The two on the left right are the Fuji Instax range.
The colours on the mini film are a lot more condensed and therefore more saturated than the standard Instax films. I've shot many and find this to be the case.
The most real to life colours are on the Instax standard size.

Bought at auction with three other cased images. I thought they were all ambrotypes, but it turns out this one and one other are tintypes. It is sixth-plate and cased in an ornately embossed but simple leather covered case that is broken at the hinge.
I suspected it was relatively early in the long period that tintypes were produced (1856 onwards) and have now confirmed this as the plate is embossed with the words "Neff's Pat 19 Feb 56", which dates it to 1856-60.

In the damp cool weather, mushrooms are thriving. These images were taken within metres ( or yards) of local homes. There was no need to venture deep into the woods.
In most cases, I photographed them as they were found on the forest floor using the standard Olympus 14-42 kit lens. In a few cases, I carefully moved twigs or grass to the side to get a clearer image.
I'm no mushroom expert, but there is a chance that some of these are poisonous and I moved around them carefully.
