These photos are being uploaded for two people; Maxine who requested seeing Carter and Shannon when they were groomed and Mary a very dear friend who I know loves these two (I think her favorite is Shannon, but I could be mistaken). I will have to say that these two are the WORST models I have worked with. Totally uncooperative.
Shannon is Carter's mom and they ended up coming as a pair when we got Carter. Shannon is a champion, but Carter would have nothing to do with the show ring (smart guy). He did sire at least one champion Cairn and he has the looks of a champion.
Now, if they were show dogs they would not have been clipped, but would have been stripped. No groomer knows how to strip a dog and it is too much of a pain. Besides, Shannon is retired and Carter is just a bum.
The Carter's Steam Fair is in town this weekend. The rides are all pretty old, but well kept. Their fleet of trucks are at best 35 years old, with the exception of a modern pick-up which I saw during the week with the guy putting up local posters which are just about everywhere!

Unedited Photo. The Carters need their teeth touched up, but other than that, I'm pretty happy with them. Painting this orange translucent resin was a strange experience!

Pamela Miot and Moscow B. Carter married on Oct. 24, 1876. They were the parents of Emma Bennett and Frank Carter.
Ken Carter -- made famous in the movie Coach Carter staring Samuel L. Jackson -- brought his message of accountability and leadership to the students and staff at Dakota Collegiate Institute in Winnipeg, MB.
This is Carter.
Carter is almost three,he's a boy I saw at the horse show fund raiser for the Rockleigh fire department and photographed him.
This is probably the photograph I liked the most.
Carter's foster mom e-mailed us this photo when we mentioned we were interested in adopting him. So here's proof that he will ignore the cats.
Carter is with us now and he's great! He's ignoring the cats and is enjoying his new home.
