-Stupid

-Fat

-Ugly

-Broke

-Unable to stick to a Budget

-Unable to spend LESS than I earn

-Sick

-Boring

-Divorced

-Old

-Unable to make Friends

-Hated by my Friends

-Hated by my Family

-Hated by my Kids (even after I bought them fancy cars too)

-Making payments on it, i don't own it yet.

-Renting it

-Angry

-Bitter

-Resentful

-Jealous

-Greedy

-Miserable

-Battling Feelings of Guilt and Shame

-Blaming Others

-Battling Cancer

-Not able to show Vulnerability

-Fighting with my Partner day in and day out

-Beating the shit out of my Wife

-Slapping my Husband in the face

-Watching Porn

-A Drunk

-A Thief

-A Whore

-Racist

-Crazy as Fuck

The thing about fancy new cars or new cars in general, is that the most exciting part is trying to get it. Once you own it, the excitement wears down and you're still left with all your thoughts and feelings. But now, you're in even greater debt.

The value of your car depreciates as soon as it comes out of the lot. A new car (reasonable brand) is still a better choice than a used car because the used car may spend most of it's time in the repair shop. The maintenance fees start to really add up. I'd go for a Ford, Honda, Toyota, or Subaru.

Other forms of transportation include: The Bus, Metro, Subway, Walking, Riding a Bike, Reasonable Brand Motorcycle, Carpooling, Trolley, Ferry Boat, Moped, etc.

Whatever that can take you from Point A to Point B, without hurting your wallet too much. Unless, you plan on living in your car.

Random Idiot Mom: [quiet, softer voice] oh my gosh, i can't believe you speak to your children like this. you're so harsh and rough. try to be more kinder and gentler with them. this is too much information to bear.

Child: hey Mom.

Random Idiot Mom: yes, son.

Child: is there anything to eat? the fridge is empty.

Random Idiot Mom: check the pantry

Child: nope, the pantry is empty too.

Random Idiot Mom: are you sure? check again.

Child: i don't see any food; in the fridge or the pantry.

Random Idiot Mom: that's ok son. i have to run, there's a man out there who's in need of my attention. i'll be back later.

My car when it was about 2 years old. It looked so shiny and new! Two of my college buddies parked at my parents' house and we carpooled to Kernville. A bunch of guys rented a mobile home for a couple nights to go river rafting for a "Bachelor party" back in 2007. The groom to be wanted to river rafting :)

Erin and I carpooled to the Gainesville Regional Utilities TREE-Mendous Appreciation Day on Saturday, April 25. Each household serviced by GRU is eligible for two free trees or shrubs. As plant geeks, there was no way that Erin or I wanted to miss out on free plants, so we got there pretty early. But not as early as all of these people. Thankfully, there were still plenty of plants available when we got to the front of the line -- they were only out of redbuds.

But no one ever seems to be digging

Instead they're looking up towards the heavens

With their eyes on the heavens

There are shadows on the way to the heavens"

7.20.2010. Day fourteen of 365.

Two weeks complete, and this was the absolute best day thus far.

Jack Johnson concert last night. This is a culmination of 4 images (I just couldn't pick!)

It was amazing. He is promoting a 'green' tour. We carpooled with 4+ people, so we got into the VIP lot. His CD was sold in cardboard packaging rather than plastic, and the shirts were made from 100% recycled cotton, with water-based inks. Go Jack Johnson, and GO GREEN!

100% of his tour/merchandise proceeds went to various charities.

+Many in comments I wanted to show you guys!

Thanks for the visit!

9/30/2024 -- Scooter carpooling.

It's late November, the days are getting shorter and the sun is setting as I leave work behind.

The change of scenery is much appreciated.

Most of these were taken while waiting from Jerrad and than Jerrad waiting for me. (Carpooling is good:)
