When I heard a 70 approaching Mill Lane Junction, Northampton, I was almost excited. However, when the train came into view, I was utterly disappointed, as it was virtually empty. I would usually refuse to take a photograph of such a train, leaving them instead for John Tomlinson, but as I had been starved of railway shots of late, tried something a little different.

police chased a black expedition after reports came in that the driver had assulted and then threatened someone with a firearm. the chase ended when the fleeing expedition crashed into a utility truck. the driver was handcuffed after he was pulled from the firey expedition. the driver of the utility truck he hit was taken to an area hospital.

The black swan had stopped for a few minutes to preen giving us a chance to enjoy and capture a few images before he sailed off !! They truly are a work of art to see with their elegant lines and beautiful coloring.

The photographer with a Leica camera , she's capturing a similar scene to my Contemplation at Sunrise , in this case an aged gent sitting on that same bench , the one with the city views to the East . He is Vietnamese and so is she .. not related .
