Headshot portraiture from The Great Scavenger Meetup 2017 While posting the image of Sam, I also have to take a moment to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to her for the amazing help she provided that enabled me to teach my class in Vegas and that resulted in the images of all of these Scavengers. Sam brought strobes, triggers, modifiers, stands, a projector, and her awesome self to this, and I absolutely could not have done any of this without her. Travelling internationally with all that stuff is a nightmare, Sam stepped up and offered her gear for me to use, and her help in setting up and tearing down. I know that bringing everything out was very stressful for her and I thank her from the bottom of my heart for making this happen. Love you much, young lady!! via 500px ift.tt/2Ce5i6j

That is, the one thing I do really like about winter here...... the angle and intensity of the light that happens. via 500px ift.tt/2DwQ6mh

A super afternoon acting as first assistant (well, ONLY assistant) for TwitchyFinger Photography, shooting for The Forum. GREAT athletic group of people, and this was fun!!! via 500px ift.tt/2yB10Vw
When Mark is out doing his thing, you naturally just follow him around and steal whatever you can learn. While he shot with flash, I shot using the lights of the bar. In celebration of all this photography, Ryan serenaded our pixel explorations operatically!! Just one more reason to love that guy. via 500px ift.tt/2ykcuMX
Blow is pretty much what I did with posting my 365 shots, looks like I missed all of December. Soooo, playing catch up. Man, we sure go through a lot more tissues in the winter! Well, we do in Canada anyway. via 500px ift.tt/2Evy53s
This was done in a single shot. Has anyone ever used a Lume Cube before? I got one for Christmas and it's pretty much AMAZING! I wanted to try a few tests on it before I left the house for shooting and give it a real life test. I put it in water because it says it's water proof up to 100ft. You are also able to control them by your phone with an app. If you are a vlogger this would be perfect for you. 10 different modes of brightness, you can control the brightness with the app over bluetooth or by pushing one of the buttons on top. You can also use it as a flash. I'm pretty sure this has no limits!! ;)
You can find them here if you're interested.
