It was a rainy day off of work so I thought I would try taking some pictures of flowers. I've always wanted to try this, not a easy as I'd hoped. Maybe I'll get better next time :)

This is a project that should have taken 3 nights to capture but instead it took 3 months because of the poor weather we have had here in Melbourne this last winter...

This image was captured at the end of a long, cold day. I had given up any hope of finding a composition worth shooting and was ready for home. I took the drone for one last flight and spotted this frozen river from the air. It was worth investigating and I came away with this final image.

What you looking at??? Had the trail cam in the same spot for two weeks. Captured a few deer, mostly not centered. Got shots for a couple days, then nothing for the final week. I think they noticed something strange and avoided the area.
NASA astronaut Shane Kimbrough and ESA astronaut Thomas Pesquet captured and berthed Japan’s HTV-6 supply craft on 14 December using the International Space Station’s 17 m-long Canadarm2 robotic arm.
The H-II Transfer Vehicle, or HTV, is also called Kounotori – Japanese for ‘white stork’. The sixth craft in the series, it was launched from Japan’s Tanegashima spaceport on 9 December.
Setting up a temporary robotics workstation in the Station’s Cupola observatory module, the astronauts monitored the approaching six-tonne craft until it stopped 10 m from the Station. Working two joysticks, Shane moved Canadarm2 to grasp HTV-6 before berthed it at the Station’s Harmony module.
The six astronauts on the Space Station have already started unloading the four tonnes of supplies, including food, equipment and new batteries to store solar-generated electricity. The batteries will be installed next month during a spacewalk.

A pretty nice way to use up old glass bottle bottoms.
The ol' laptop is heading back to the shop—one of the libraries (my photo library, HURRAH!) decided to corrupt itself. Crossing my fingers that she'll come back improved and fully functioning. In the meantime...see you soon!
Another windy Lake Michigan big wave kind of evening. Yesterdays wind storm blasted the lakeshore once again. People line up in droves to capture the perfect wave as it crashes up againts the Grand Haven Lighthouse. Such awesomw power and beauty.
The glow of Canary Wharf sets the perfect backdrop for quiet street photography experiments. Testing a star 8 filter to add a little extra magic to the scene. ✨
I got this camera on trade for some work and didn't want it. Little did I know it would inspire me to try new things, And also taught me that each camera catches a different image in its own way. Although I was excited to upgrade from my Kodak easy share

The tree lights are up! My city just started doing this a couple of years ago. It's so awesome. My shop is right on a main road they widened a few years back and they've been "beautifying" the area for a while.
Now, at holiday time, we get lights on the gingko trees down the middle divider and it looks like the Champs-Élysées!
