This long exposure photograph was taken at 7.43pm three months ago at Upper Seletar Reservoir. Drifting clouds with interesting shapes and sky were illuminated differently in partially blue sky, and were reflected on the surface of the reservoir.

It was slightly windy and thus the reflections were blurred. The small jetty and boats provided locational reference and added interest to the captivating landscape.

A favorite location for great coffee and a stunning view is the Cilantro Coffee Shop and Cafe on Yoho Park's Emerald Lake.

In the distance Emerald peak is shrouded in stormy skies reflected in the Emerald Lake outlet. More views below....

Seems coffee always tastes the best when the air is pristine and views are captivating.

Black and white re-edit of a shot from June 2019. Enjoy!

The search for diversity has led me to the place where I found several blossoming lotus flowers. One of them was so attractive and charming that I just couldn't pass by such beauty! Truly a unique picture, in my opinion!

But I'm still alive

I don't wanna just survive

Give me something to sink all my teeth in

Eat the devil and spit out my demons

Still alive

Already died a thousand times

Went to Hell but I'm back and I'm breathing

Make me bleed while my heart is still beating

Still alive

Tagetes is a genus of annual or perennial, mostly herbaceous plants in the sunflower family (Asteraceae). The genus is native of south of México, but some species have become naturalized around the world. The common name in English, marigold, is derived from Mary's gold, a name first applied to a similar plant native to Europe, Calendula officinalis. The most commonly cultivated varieties of Tagetes are known variously as African marigolds or French marigolds, many of which were developed in France. Depending on the species, marigold foliage has a musky, pungent scent, though some varieties have been bred to be scentless. It is said to deter some common insect pests, as well as nematodes. Tagetes species are hence often used in companion planting for tomato, eggplant, chili pepper, tobacco, and potato. Z2_168

Happy Post Processing Monday

Adams Plaza Bridge, Canary Wharf, Docklands, London

This guy was so charmed with his cigarette that he could not even realize me while shooting.

This photograph was taken two years ago at sunrise at Lower Seletar Reservoir looking towards Heritage Bridge and beyond.

The clouds above and beyond the Bridge were illuminated differently, brightly or in darker shades. The contrasting reflections in the Reservoir provided a captivating morning landscape.

A title suggested by my lovely friend Anne

A woody perennial flowering plant of the genus Rosa, in the family Rosaceae. There are over three hundred species and thousands of cultivars. They form a group of plants that can be erect shrubs, climbing, or trailing, with stems that are often armed with sharp prickles. Flowers vary in size and shape and are usually large and showy, in colours ranging from white through yellows and reds. Most species are native to Asia, with smaller numbers native to Europe, North America, and northwestern Africa. Species, cultivars and hybrids are all widely grown for their beauty and often are fragrant. Roses have acquired cultural significance in many societies. Rose plants range in size from compact, miniature roses, to climbers that can reach seven meters in height. Different species hybridize easily, and this has been used in the development of the wide range of garden roses. 21348

Much like a miracle drug, I was always chasing the next buzz. The trees totally entranced me from my Yak.

Now that winter is here, I still find myself dreaming of Fall. It will take awhile to adjust to the -26C temps as of right now but I will get there as winter has its beauty too, only it is a cold buzz.

Got up and out of the house early to get some shots before work. This is quiet a popular spot to photograph. this jetty is located at the bottom of Olivers hill in Frankston. i was lucky enough that the dense cloud blanket had cleared a but and the clouds where broken up with the sky. which also let some nice light through.

thanks for viewing.
