This photograph was taken this morning at Lower Seletar Reservoir, with slowly drifting cloudlets above the vegetation of Orchid Country Club. The sky was illuminated brightly by the rising sun, with various sun rays in the background of the photograph.
It was a calm morning which resulted in captivating reflections of the sun rays and cloudlets in the reservoir.
Best wishes for a great weekend!
This photograph was taken before sunrise from the Heritage Bridge of Lower Seletar Reservoir looking towards the Orchid Country Club. There were captivating cloud formations above the vegetation, and these were serenely reflected in the mirror-like reservoir surface.
This photograph was taken at dusk at Upper Seletar Reservoir. There were captivating and colourful clouds with mirror-like reflections in the reservoir. The small jetty and boats in the foreground provided locational reference for this tranquil landscape.
Throwback Clancy, 3yrs 3wks
No time for our Saturday Morning Post, as Dad is working, so here is a throwback to early December 2015 when we were out in the fields off the Prescott-Russell Trail. Is that snow I see over there? No, I would have to wait another three weeks for the great white fluffy stuff!

It was a cloudy and calm dawn, with the reservoir surface offering mirror-like reflections. The captivating clouds and reflections provided a wonderful start for the day.
One from the archives from my old home in Stawell showing a sunset that made us both come out for a closer look!
Happy Nice Wonderful Clouds Tuesday!
Captivating clouds at sunset rising above Mt. Heyburn reflected in Little Redfish Lake. Always seem to have great skies when here. The high altitude helps.
I'll be busy with a project for a bit. Have a great week.
Thanks for taking a look. Always appreciated!

In the mystical realm of possibilities, where the boundaries of reality and chaos intertwine, a fascinating convergence occurred. In this captivating dance between moths and destiny, the butterfly effect unfurled its wings, weaving a tale of interconnectedness.
A favorite location for great coffee and a stunning view is the Cilantro Coffee Shop and Cafe on Yoho Park's Emerald Lake.
In the distance Emerald peak is shrouded in stormy skies reflected in the Emerald Lake outlet. More views below....
Seems coffee always tastes the best when the air is pristine and views are captivating.

Black and white re-edit of a portrait of Archie captured in February 2018.
Holding Archie's attention for long enough to capture a photograph is no easy task. You also need some very fast shutter speeds most of the time. He is not one for staying still.
Happy Caturday to my Flickr friends - wishing you all a fantastic weekend of photography.
Enjoy!
But I'm still alive
I don't wanna just survive
Give me something to sink all my teeth in
Eat the devil and spit out my demons
Still alive
Already died a thousand times
Went to Hell but I'm back and I'm breathing
Make me bleed while my heart is still beating
Still alive

Black and white re-edit of a shot from June 2019. Enjoy!
The search for diversity has led me to the place where I found several blossoming lotus flowers. One of them was so attractive and charming that I just couldn't pass by such beauty! Truly a unique picture, in my opinion!
This photograph was taken from the Heritage Bridge of Lower Seletar Reservoir looking towards Orchid Country Club before sunrise.
The clouds were illuminated differently by the rising sun, with some of the clouds illuminated brightly. These clouds and vegetation were reflected in the calm surface of the reservoir, forming various visual cues.
This night photograph was taken in South Lake of Zhou Zhuang during our holidays in June.
It was slightly breezy and the water surface in the lake was disturbed. The light and fountain show, with sequence of images projected onto a screen, lasers from selected spots and fountains of various patterns, was captivating. The captured screen image was a snapshot of the some buildings of Zhou Zhuang.
Much like a miracle drug, I was always chasing the next buzz. The trees totally entranced me from my Yak.
Now that winter is here, I still find myself dreaming of Fall. It will take awhile to adjust to the -26C temps as of right now but I will get there as winter has its beauty too, only it is a cold buzz.

This photograph was taken two evenings ago from Guangzhou;s Liede Bridge looking towards Haixinsha islet (on left of photograph) with illuminated stadium, and some high-rise buildings.
The clouds and sky were progressively illuminated by the setting sun below the horizon, with captivating shapes and colours. The lit high-rise buildings provided complementary interests to the stunning cityscape.
Got up and out of the house early to get some shots before work. This is quiet a popular spot to photograph. this jetty is located at the bottom of Olivers hill in Frankston. i was lucky enough that the dense cloud blanket had cleared a but and the clouds where broken up with the sky. which also let some nice light through.
thanks for viewing.

This panoramic picture was stitched from four photographs taken from the top of Blue Tree Premium Faria Lima hotel in Sao Paulo at dawn. The cloud formations and colours above the numerous high-rise buildings and TV towers were mesmerizing. The traffic light trails along Av. Pres. Juscelino Kubitschek this early in the day was indicative of the city’s vibrancy.
Here is a three stitch image taken with the 17mm while I was taking the 10mm long exposures there on the tripod. You can see in this handheld capture what the incredible sunset colors there was then ... as well as the people that were standing in the arch. In the really long exposures they people vanish as they were at least walking around. I do like shots with the people though, as they give you a real sense of the scale of this fabulous rock features that nature has created for us.
This was certainly a memorable sunset for 2013 ;)
Arches Natioanal Park
This photograph was taken last year after sunrise at Lower Seletar Reservoir looking towards Heritage Bridge and beyond.
It was a calm morning, with mirror-like reflections of the captivating clouds and the Bridge. The rising sun and its reflection were captured as sunstars . It was a wonderful scene to behold.
Best wishes for a wonderful weekend.
Every year my Columbine flowers return to fill my garden with purple and pink blossoms. The structure of these flowers reminds me of a porcelain sculpture. Art in the garden....isn't it lovely?
One of natures truly beautiful creatures.
I doubt I will ever have the honour of seeing one of these in the wild unfortunately. This beauty and it's mate were at Harewood House Bird Garden
The snowy owl, also known as the polar owl, the white owl and the Arctic owl, is a large, white owl of the true owl family. Snowy owls are native to the Arctic regions of both North America and the Palearctic, breeding mostly on the tundra.
