Name: Quentin Bique

Powers: Unknown. May still have super strength/flight, but has yet exhibit these qualities.

Weaknesses: He's a few pages short of a chapter, if you know what I mean.

Origin: Quentin Bique was a superhero in the Silver Age of comics. Blessed with superhuman strength and flight, he defended the civilians of New Blok City from evil. Unfortunately, all good things come to an end, and Quentin's powers wanted as he aged. Eventually, he sank into obscurity. He would not be heard from until 40 years later, when a C-List supervillain attacked the retirement home Quentin was living in. The attack must have triggered something in Quentin's aged mind, because he ran a the villain wildly, swinging his fists as if he had super strength. The villain deflected his attack with ease, calling him a "washout" and saying he "wasn't worth the trouble". Ever since that day, Quentin was filled with a desire to get revenge on all who mocked him. He became a supervillain under his old moniker, "Captain Cube" in hope that people might take him seriously again, but mostly he just gets laughed at.

They both have weapons but I did not put them in the picture. Cold has a sakaran gun and boomerang has boomerangs.

Once again, as he stands on my desk (all my new 1/6 figures get to stand on my desk next to my monitor for their first few weeks so I can enjoy them), I'm struck by the realism of these figures. Just in the regular light, with all its shadows, he just looks remarkable. <3 I keep waiting for him to say something snarky.

No fancy light. Just the light of the room. And he is just stunning.

While I do have a couple of minor complaints about this figure, for the most part, I'm quite incredibly impressed with QMx's first figure. They really did a spectacular job on him.

Started out as a little Peter Fonda tribute, ended up here somehow...

Helmet? Oh, I've got a helmet!

The cape was a failed attempt at a Cygnus crew minifig (from Disney's The Black Hole). Something I may revisit but at the time I wasn't happy with it. Luckily I kept the cape and roughed it up a little for our Captain here.

Hello guys it's Alex here 😀

So, I had a cunning plan. This plan was formulated months ago.

Then the time was right for a photographic challenge concept. But the fountain had died, so I put it off.

Then I finally had the chance this afternoon and the clouds rolled in.

Then the bastards turned off the fountain before 4PM.

As I was driving away at 5 minutes to 4, there was a gap in the clouds and everything was lit up!

So let's call this a proof of concept! Now I just need everything to line up

Teaser Trailer...

Best part of the Teaser was Coulson!

Design on the left was for A Captain Marvel Fig Ed and me were going to release. but then came the news that Lego was going to release their own fig. so we scraped it and moved ahead with Arachno Girl. If you´re following Ed´s and my stream you already know that 2 physical figs exist. only 2!

The Design on the right I did when Carol was introduced to the Avengers Assemble Cartoon. There does not exist a physical fig.

Captain is a blues musician in Durham NC. He's ancient and still rocking. One of the sweetest guys you'll ever meet. Always sporting the skipper's hat and middleton stogie.

Captain Malcolm Reynolds from Firefly/Serenity.

Waited well over a year and a half since preorder for this fella to come out. The company had some issues, including one where they had to have the headsculpt redone by a different company because the first just didn't not meet expectations. They included both in the packaging. This one, the second one, is by far superior and was worth the wait.

The costume is quite lovely, too.

Definitely a few issues, but for their first release, I'm very pleased with this guy and so glad I didn't cancel.

More head shot testing.

RAILAY BEACH, KRABI THAILAND - JUN 20, 2013: Traditional Thai longtail boat captain sitting on the wooden boat

Pilot of the B-24J bomber nicknamed "Witchcraft", 8th AAF, 93rd Bomb Group, 330th Bomb Squadron. I was honored to be able to talk to him yesterday and ask him about his experience in the air campaign over Europe during WWII. His eyes glowed when he talked about his first sight of the terrifying German jet fighters that dived into his bomber group formation during the last few months of the war.

We had an exhilarating private boat trip on Loch Dunvegan to see the seal colony and observe at close quarters these playful sea mammals. We also saw Herons nesting as well as many other species of birds including the Arctic Tern. Although it rained, rained and rained we experienced beautiful wildlife in a designated area of conservation and awe-inspiring natural beauty. The conservation policy and ethos adopted by the MacLeod Estate over the years has allowed these seal colonies to thrive and grow to the point where they now represent 35% of the Isle of Skye’s total seal population.
