For some reason, Disney's Captain Hook was always a favorite of mine. Not really evil, clumsy and funny at times, having his own nemesis in the shape of a comical crocodile - and always being outwitted by Peter Pan. Or clumsy Mr. Smee.
Long story short: I had to build him - in this iconic pose, including the crocodile. It was great fun and a challenge to build at this scale, especially with those limiting colors (I'm talking to you, magenta!).
A pirate contest on Brikkelauget provided me with the perfect opportunity so it had to be done :D

Found a bunch of the new LBM sets the other day, but this was the only one I could afford. Heh. Ah well, despite the rest of it being entirely superfluous (Digger should have been in the CMF instead of another damned Batsuit but I digress) This fig is amazing.
Thus, here's some simple combos made up of the two official figs, and some custom elements thrown in (like the head we were all giving him for a while that frankly, I like just a little bit better)
Still though! Now we have the ultimate Classic Captain Boomerang! How sweet is that!

Went with a friend yesterday to BABW (my first time!) to make this guy! He's a limited/special edition, and is dark blue, with light blue captain america shields on his fur. He also has a print of captain america on his foot!
I'm also sorry for lack of posting guys. These past couple weeks have been awful; schoolwork sucks, I havent been sleeping well, there was almost a family death...really teaches you not to take anything for granted.
I also wanted to just thank you guys for how kind you've been-all your advice, support, favorites and comments really make my day. You guys rock!

My husband was about to leave for Army training, so I snapped this photo so I could print it out and send it along with him as a surprise. Captain Cuteness was a hit. :)
Saw Star Trek Beyond this weekend was really impressed with how good of a job Justin Lin did. After enjoying the movie so much, I threw together Captain Kirk in his traditional outfit, nothing fancy but it does the job. Would love to know what you think in the comments below.
The oldest and largest of the three rescued cougar cubs recently introduced to the Columbus Zoo, Captain Cal is a lot more laid back than the sisters Goldie and Poppy.
I don't take pictures where people are the subject very often and it really comes down to the fact that I don't like to have people pose for me, because...well I'm not good at that type of photography. When I do take these types of photos, it's a candid photo of them doing something they do everyday. Here's one such example.
First a little background info. Last week, I went fishing with a group from work. I'm not an avid fisherman, as a matter of fact I've spent most of my life hating the idea of fishing. You see, fishing is boring to me and I don't honestly enjoy sitting around and waiting for something to happen. Any ways, I do enjoy taking a day off work to do nothing every once in a while and I really enjoy seeing Captain Turner.
Now, here is a man who has spent his entire life on the water fishing. He knows every island, marsh and channel around Wachapreague and I would bet that he has no rival. Spending almost everyday out on the water for his entire 85 years, how could there be anyone any more knowledgeable than he. I have a great respect for this man that I've only seen a handful of times and I make sure that every time I see him, I stop and talk to him. This is how a I honor this hard working man who has spent countless hours sitting at the helm of the Bonnie Sue taking people like me out fishing. I can hardly wait for another opportunity to talk to him.

This funky, experimental bracelet features vintage comic art from the Adventures of Tintin - Red Rackham's Treasure. The Tintin comics were created in 1929. Red Rackham's Treasure follows Tintin and friends as they search for the pirate booty procured by Captain Haddock's ancestor, Sir Francis Haddock, in the West Indies. Tintin and Snowy receive some unexpected help in the form of a hard-of-hearing inventor named Professor Calculus. It's a lot of fun, with some submarine and diving adventures.
Here we have The Vintage Collection Mandalorian Super Commando Captain figure. A fever-dream combo of Darth Maul and Boba Fett that actually exists and is double awesome.
