John sporting his flat cap. I love meeting new people and listening to their fascinating life stories of time gone by. John grew up in Scotland, born in 1944 nearing the end of World War Two.
Born in hard times he remembers how a family member would exchange bags of coal for fresh meat and vegetables or even clothes.
John wanted to be a Doctor, he has a great brain and at 72 years old when it comes to Math he is razor sharp.
The head closer to the island of Minorca from Mallorca.
Curler caps , bonnets etc in the 60s and 70s were intended to both look nice as well as secure and protect a hairdo or a rollerset. Some of the descriptions even mention thinks like fashionable or pretty and they were. A pretty woman wearing nicely set curlers and a curler cap can be absolutely beautiful!

Conifercone Cap / baeospora myosura. Elvaston, Derbyshire. 18/11/19.
'SMALL LIVES.'
A different view of four small Conifercone fungi growing out of a Scots Pine cone. The two largest of the group had developed the characteristic curve in their stems.
I chose a lower PoV to make this shot, which allows a peep at the white, crowded gills. These diminutive forms have secured a niche feeding ecology by growing exclusively on pine or spruce cones.
BEST VIEWED LARGE.

Labatt Blue issued a series of NHL related caps several years ago. Each team was given a cap, as well as each trophy.
They were only released in Canada for some reason (why they wouldn't have a wider release is beyond me, as Labatt Blue is only really found in US hockey markets anyway) and thus these mark caps that had to be gifted to me from my brother.
These are ordered in the standings in which teams finished for the 2009-2010 regular season.
Notes encouraged.
