Our first family camping ever was in a state park, which was only 30 miles away from home - just in case something goes wrong, we can go back home easily. :-)
The green tent was our first new tent (by Coleman). It turned out that we were caught in a big thunderstorm that night and the tent finally leaked! Luckily we survived that night without running back home. It was a nice experience living in the wild. :-)
Needless to say, this tent was returned back immediately.

Shot of my campsite in Sand Flats campground, near Moab, Utah. I liked this spot. It was secluded and had a great view.

When I was a little girl school didn't start until September. Now it starts at the beginning of August in some places. I never went to camp but during the summer my family went to the Sacramento river for a month. I learned how to swim in that
river.
Photowalk with Pixelprinz.
We both made some shots with an IPhone and a Mamiya RZ67. Cool combiation. Both cameras show opposed characteristics. But both cameras are fun to use!

Sunrise High Sierra Camp is one of the five High Sierra Camps in Yosemite National Park. These camps provide day hikers food and bed without the burden of heavy backpack. You can hike in one of them and return the other day, or try to finish the loop by staying one night in each camp.
