I'm back to my Weight Watchers goal weight and regained my Lifetime status that I earned in 2008. Sometime in 2010 I let my healthy habits slip until I was up more than 35 pounds by the end of 2011. New Years Day 2012 I rejoined WW and set to work. I almost met my goal last summer but personal setbacks had me fall back into bad habits. Once I got back from the UK I got serious again and finished what I started. 35 pounds gone in the past 17 months. This time for good!
I was unprepared for dinner. On the fly I whipped up the kids an Easter pie! I attempted to shape whole wheat pizza crust like an egg, swirls of pesto and tomato sauce, topped with mozzarella then decorated with patterns of mini pepperoni. They are gleefully scarfing it down.
Currently in Florida helping my father set up his trailer to live in. He's back on the road and finally had a chance to go a place he can use his trailer.
Serious nom! Japchae, classic Korean dish, plus there was a little bit of kimchi on the side. Sweet potato noodles, various veggies, shiitake mushrooms and scampi. C'mon, you know you want some. Seconds? Yes, please. Plus, I'm the only member of this household who has no Asian genes whatsoever, yet I'm the only member of this household who uses chopsticks whenever possible. Where's the sense in that?

#MobileArtistry is creative edits, beautiful images, unique perspectives, stellar shots, and happy accidents. IE, stuff you won't find on the pop page.
Through this ongoing project we hope to expose people to art and artists they may not normally get to see, learn about one another's process, and encourage each other to push the limits of creativity.

Tonight's submission is from Elena, aka @theresmiling, let's here about her process.
I'm very honoured to be featured by @mobileartistry. There were so many great artists featured already. Thank you for the opportunity to present my work and editing process to so many people.
What I did with this photo is my current favourite way of editing (if I don't want to do more complicated things): Crop, adjust Brightness, Contrast, and Saturation, add two filters (all in Afterglow) and add mextures and/ or ndpatterns (in Image Blender).
Here's the detailed process: Shot in #CameraPlus, portrait format; additional lens: #photojojowideangle.
#AfterglowApp: Import photo, Brightn. +40, Contrast +100, Filters 'Lumber' + 'Forrest', Crop.
#MyPhotoPlanets #PhotoPlanets: Transform one of @nealdieker's #ndpatterns.
#ImageBlender #Blender: Photo + transformed ndpattern, reposition and mask, blend mode 'Screen' at 20% opacity. Flatten.
Add one of @merekdavis' #mextures, blend mode 'Difference' at 100% opacity. Done. (ndpatterns + mextures = #killercomboentry)
Hope you like it. If you've got any questions feel free and ask.

Lowndes County was created by an act of the Georgia legislature December 23, 1825, from lands previously in Irwin County. It was named for William J. Lowndes, a South Carolina statesman. The first count officers commissioned May 29, 1836, were Henry Blair, Clerk of the Superior Court; William Smith, Ordinary; Normal Campbell, Tax Collector; William Hancock, Sheriff; Malachi Monk, coroner and Samuel M. Clyatt, Surveyor. The first state senator was William A. Knight and the first representative was Jonathan Knight for Lowndes County.
Lowndes County has had three county seats: Frankllinville, Lowndesville (later changed to Troupville) and Valdosta.

The Eagle Tavern, built in the late 18th century, once stood on the site of the present Lafayette Hotel. A state coach stop on the Augusta to Macon line, the tavern owned by a Mr. A. Abercrombie was the scene of a great ball held for the Marquis de LaFayette in 1825. Burned in the late 1830’s, the Tavern was replaced by the present structure in 1840 when it was known as the Edwards’ House. Renamed the Drummer’s Home in 1897 it was, in 1900, voted by traveling men the most popular hotel in Georgia and received a silver wine dispenser from the Georgia Hotel
