20100211 Close up of our Christmas Cactus in bloom. These are on pieces that had fallen off the main plant and stuck in a glass of water on the window sill - probably 2 years ago now...They are happier than the main plant!! The "mother" cactus is my husbands great grandmother's.

We have had a backyard Cactus Grove for some time. The blossoms bloom overnight for one night only and close up by mid-morning the next day. This is the largest bloom we have had as I counted 24 blossoms this morning.
