This is the cable car which brings you to the top. There is also the option to hike up the side that is not as steep but with the humidity it was over 100 degrees that day so we opted for the sky lift.

A cable ferry (also called chain ferry, swing ferry, floating bridge, or punt) is a ferry that is guided (and in many cases propelled) across a river or large body of water by cables connected to both shores. Early cable ferries often used either rope or steel chains, with the latter resulting in the alternate name of chain ferry. Both of these were largely replaced by stronger and more durable wire cable by the late 19th century.
Covered with 10 mm shrink tube and ready for fitting to the mill - possibly the Z-axis (too short for X-axis: I made a preliminary check/guess with the mill still dismantled)
First time ever!
I got bored of my regular Blythey knits so I decided to give cables a try. I always sort of 'understood' the concept, but never tried it.
Of course, I didn't have a cable needle on me, and none of my pencils or pens were thin enough... so I used a Post-It note, and folded up the sticky side a bit, cut off the rest and it worked fine :D
which means lots of cables, wires, connectors, gadgets and other "stuff" on my desk... and a glass of wine in PM hours ;)
