April 27, 2002 - We were told to walk to this cable car station and take advantage of the admission ticket which allowed one free cable car ride across the expo grounds. "During the Expo, the 850-metre-long cable car took you across the Floriade park. Along the way, you could enjoy stunning views from a height of 35 metres. In this way you could experience the sustainable means of transport of the future at Floriade! After Floriade, the cable car will be repurposed in another location, namely the German horticultural exhibition taking place in Mannheim in 2023: the Bundesgartenschau."
