Cable car 15 leaves the Barn for its inagural run. The original 15 was built in 1894 and retired a few years ago and would have been painted in the same color scheme used 1894-1902 by the original Market Street Railway Company.

My friend eweliyi (<<-- go see it! woo!) had her first-ever pick for FGR, despite being a valued member since 1996. She picked trains, so I went out and found one.

 

Found a train and about two dozen power lines. *sigh*

We are in a "Restricted area." I was trying to get a picture of this reel from the garage door, reaching and stretching to get the camera around a truck someone had parked in the way when one of the guys working there offered to take a photo of Judy and I standing in front of it. Nice guy!

I was surprised how small the functional part of the connector was, considering they're usually surrounded by bulky plastic.
