I don't know why people want to fish from the bridge, but they lose plenty of tackle on the lines that run parallel.
Took me awhile because of measuring lengths needed (measure a billion times and cut once). Now 3 more cables to go!

Another thing you can't simply find nowadays - old-style separate wiring.
This line still used on the tramway stop for lighting. Each wire has its own rubber insulation and fixed on the steel cable with an own ceramic insulator. Coiled parts should help to avoid cracking the rubber insulation with a strong wind during the cold winter. I think this wiring could be more than fifty years old.
the power supply cables are hanging low everywhere in bangkok. apart from looking messy, i am not sure how safe this is either... in case of a fire, i mean.
out of the 4 days i was in bangkok, this was only the day i saw blue skies, which was such a change from the grey skies i saw earlier, not due to rain mind you. but most probably due to the air pollution bangkok is notorious for.
The cable tunnel carries 275 kV power cable circuits for 600 metres under Wimbledon, South West London. There are "only" 10 flights of steps at each end on this one, but they're vertical ladders instead of stairs.
