Okay, I know that this isn't my usual fare but I think that it's interesting anyhow. I have another shot of this that I'll post tomorrow and a couple more of inanimate objects coming up after that so I have to remember not to post to animal, nature, or plant groups!
Anyhow, I think that this steel cable is something interesting. There are so many tiny wires braided together to make just one strand of this cable before those strands are woven together as one. I think that it's amazing that it's so strong. That aside, I also like the textures and colors for this subject. With that in mind, I used my flash to bring out a lot of the detail and I think that it really worked out!

Like I said before I love it when I need something fixed. This guy came to fix my cable and not only was he so hot but he was big all over which drove me nuts.

the power supply cables are hanging low everywhere in bangkok. apart from looking messy, i am not sure how safe this is either... in case of a fire, i mean.
out of the 4 days i was in bangkok, this was only the day i saw blue skies, which was such a change from the grey skies i saw earlier, not due to rain mind you. but most probably due to the air pollution bangkok is notorious for.
