C-GZCE - Beechcraft E-18S - Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum (CWHM)

c/n A-156 - built in 1942/1946
CWHM obtained this airplane from a private donor in 1982 after it had flown for many years on commercial and private ventures around the world. Manufactured as a Model D-18C in 1942, this Expeditor was converted to a Model E-18S in 1946, when Pratt & Whitney engines replaced the original Continentals. The paint scheme and markings are of a photographic section of the RCAF circa 1944, which was based at Winnipeg and attached to 403 Squadron.
One of the finest Model 18's around worldwide - CWHM won a number of airshow-prizes with this aircraft

In May 2015, WestJet unveiled a special commemorative tartan to mark the launch of its Halifax-Glasgow service, WestJet’s first UK-service.
In addition to decaling the tails of two aircraft with the specially designed tartan, WestJet produced neck ties, cufflinks and scarves featuring this pattern.

My eye was caught by the modern building originally but, wondering around, I couldn't help but notice the wonderful curves in the old building that neighboured it.
