Button-Fix - the secret fixing for panels

The concept is simple: durable nylon Buttons are attached to the back of one panel and the mating Fixes are attached to the other. Bring the panels together and slide until the Button-fixes "Click"

Button-fix can be configured in many different ways to best suit your application, either surface-mounted or rebated into the panel, and orientated for vertical or sideways assembly

Uses 1 x 5.0mm and 2 x 4.5mm countersunk screws

Button-Fix invisibly supports a wide variety of panel materials and thicknesses and is suitable for both interior and exterior use

Buttoned Snout

(Hypena rostralis)

A locally fairly common species in the south-east of England, it was formerly more widespread.

The larvae feed on the leaves of hop (Humulus lupulus).

The adults can be found in woodland fringes, hedgerows and similar places from August to October, after which they hibernate and then reappear in the spring.

The images were taken at the F1 Petronas Malasia Grand Prix on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 April 2011
