in the hallway of a home for demented people there are four of these machines. Push a button and a sound will be heard that relates to the picture (and items in the picture lighten up). Very nice and recognizable sounds. I can't resist to push some when walking by.
made for the ANSH round77 #3 "push buttons"
This brooch is handmade from vintage buttons. I love buttons and think of them as tiny works of art in their own right. Lots of time goes into finding, cleaning, repairing and sometimes dyeing or painting them before I use them to make something. I hope you love this brooch as much as I do!
The buttons range from plastic, rhinestone, celluloid, shell, glass, mother of pearl, bakelite and wood. They are sewn on felt covered plastic canvas and a metal pinback. It measures 2-2.5inches in diameter. This brooch is the perfect accent piece for any handbag or jacket.
My wonderful, beautiful friend, Erika, gave me the idea for bracelets made out of buttons! :O Alright, I know some of you are all, "That's LAME." I don't care! I love the idea.
These will be sold on eBay pretty soon. Or, if you want, you can FM me and I'll send you some. ;)
They should be three, four, or five dollars. Still thinking about it! :)
LOL! Just saw this on my pc after loading from camera phone early early this morning. I am such a geek!
You are all to kind.

Bouquet made from green florist wire and vintage buttons. I have a major button obsession. I received these vintage buttons from a dear friend. I wanted to enjoy them without harming them. I wanted a cool way to display them. This is what I made. I did this 5 years ago and to this day, I smile every time I look at them. I love how each button is so unique. Dig out those buttons and make some, you'll love one in a vase or a whole bunch.

Button Nose (1977)
Real name: Trish
Birthday: January 5
Kind and cheerful, Trish is called Button Nose because of, well, her cute little button nose! She's also known for her delicious homemade strawberry jam.
This button was found by me with my Garrett Ace 250, in the Ossett/Horbury area. It is a uniform button issued by the Midland Railway which ran in Great Britain until 1923. A Wyvern, the emblem of the Midland Railway, is in the centre of the button. The wyvern is similar to a European dragon, but it differs in that it has only two legs and has a barbed, or snake like tail. It is said to be smaller than a dragon and sometimes to be able to breathe fire. In heraldry, it represents pestilence, conquest, or other such ideas.
