Eryngium yuccifolium
Hammer p264
This flower blooms in the summer through fall and grows in savannas and moist pinelands. The lower leaves have bristles on the margins, resembling the leaves of Yucca, as you can see in this photo.

Button I purchased from Korean designer/illustrator Esther Lee whom I met at a Tokyo design joint 2 years ago. Dope illustrations! Korea representing again.
I walked with tracer to Active Surplus in Toronto, and they have a big red button in the wiring/tubing/roping/piping section. It makes a freakish buzz noise, and a man comes walking over to cut your length.
in the hallway of a home for demented people there are four of these machines. Push a button and a sound will be heard that relates to the picture (and items in the picture lighten up). Very nice and recognizable sounds. I can't resist to push some when walking by.
made for the ANSH round77 #3 "push buttons"
This brooch is handmade from vintage buttons. I love buttons and think of them as tiny works of art in their own right. Lots of time goes into finding, cleaning, repairing and sometimes dyeing or painting them before I use them to make something. I hope you love this brooch as much as I do!
The buttons range from plastic, rhinestone, celluloid, shell, glass, mother of pearl, bakelite and wood. They are sewn on felt covered plastic canvas and a metal pinback. It measures 2-2.5inches in diameter. This brooch is the perfect accent piece for any handbag or jacket.
Guilty as charged ;)
This is a handful of some fave sparkles buttons. I have collected other things including dolls and stuffies over years, but recently found myself building a small antique button collection into a much bigger one!

It is the platform for people who create magic using the technology hidden under the roof. Stretching from every corner of India, it is all about developing a great maker community in the country where people can learn and share in depth about the art. It is a trigger to a giant explosion of creativity that buzzes inside every innovator to showcase the resourcefulness of possessed knowledge by implementing it to a greater use.

Come together to build up an enormous community of Makers in India as India is renowned of having the greatest intellectual horsepower among other countries of world.
Ideate, build and share.

Bouquet made from green florist wire and vintage buttons. I have a major button obsession. I received these vintage buttons from a dear friend. I wanted to enjoy them without harming them. I wanted a cool way to display them. This is what I made. I did this 5 years ago and to this day, I smile every time I look at them. I love how each button is so unique. Dig out those buttons and make some, you'll love one in a vase or a whole bunch.
The famous sound suits of Nick Cave. This show called Sojourn. Learned that he was responding to the need for a second skin after witnessing the beating of Rodney King. His first suit was made of twigs and as he wore it he realized they made a soothing noise as the twigs moved against each other which led to making "sound suits" just for the purpose of filming the movement and making sound. Mesmerizing to watch. The sound is hypnotic. I first saw his stuff in SF when my art professor friend Chris came to visit.

The best way that I've found to keep on top of so many button designs is to put them up on a board with numbers for people to choose from. Behind the podium, I keep segmented bins full of the designs.

Was told that "real photographers" shoot in 300 dpi as apposed to the 240 dpi that my camera shoots. So here is a 420 dpi picture and you know what, unless your prepress guru is a retard this sort of thing is just up his alley and as a photographer if you can't figure this one out in photoshop, here is a clue Image Size.
