Buttoned up for winter at 10,157 ft. Once the snow gets deeper, Tincup is only accessible by snowmobile.
One last show showing the top deck nearside panels, this time from the rear. Minor marks in the panels will be buffed out during the paint prep phase.
I took the idea of being buttoned up and played with an invitation set that is so well put together that it incorporates buttons! I pulled earthy tones and started with a chocolate brown button and string square envelope.
Then I added some embellishment. I added a single button to both the Invitation and RSVP card with string going around the cards.
Everything in this set revolves around an earthy palette and attention to details. The string is yellow and green, the backer card is recycled kraft paper and the chocolate envelopes couldn’t be any more perfect.
On Friday, 23 December, 2016, Sovereign Hill's redcoat soldiers wore their new uniforms on parade for the first time. This project has included a large sponsorship appeal and every last detail of the uniforms have been thoroughly researched and recreated.
The fundraising was lead by two of the Sovereign Hill board members while Sovereign Hill's wonderful costume department was responsible for the research and the making of the costumes.

The turret. Notice the glass laminate Ammunition crate for the M2 and M240. This is so that the rounds do not "cook- off."
I TAGGED ALL THOSE WHO WERE AN INSPIRATION FOR ME TO BUILD THIS TANK THE WAY IT IS :)
All buttoned up the front nearside panel was bonded into place now just a few strips of beading to lock everything into place and I have completed my first panelling job.

I am pleased with how this has turned out, but it took me a long time to get it right! Fixing the button onto the silver was a particular problem.
Dublin meaning "town of the hurdled ford", is the capital city of Ireland. The English name for the city is derived from the Irish name Dubhlinn, meaning "black pool". Dublin is situated near the midpoint of Ireland's east coast, at the mouth of the River Liffey and the centre of the Dublin Region.
Originally founded as a Viking settlement in the 9th century, it evolved into the Kingdom of Dublin and became the island's principal city following the Norman invasion. Following the partition of Ireland in 1922, the new parliament, the Oireachtas, was located in Leinster House. Dublin became the capital of the Irish Free State and later the Republic of Ireland.

Again I redesigned the quilt from this series. Here it's hanging on the background piece from a stick. Since I mailed the background to my grandmother, it won't appear here behind the future months' quilts.
Doodle, no eraser, original design and ended up as a concept drawing for my fashion collection "Button Up."
Theme was somewhat inspired by the circus... ironically, I hate clowns but I like this drawing =)
