We toured the area with our guide, Dallas, from Paria Outfitters - superb, attentive and seemed to be having as much fun as us!
Every living thing has some sort of symmetry attributed to its body. In this case, the symmetry of a hummingbird's butt feathers.
Before my mother died, every year, she would set out the hummingbird feeders in September, because that's when the little birds make their migratory path through my part of southeast Texas. Mom and I had a deal: she would cook up the hummingbird nectar and fill the feeders and I would then hang them up for her (because it entailed a step-ladder to do that and she was 89 and there was no way I would let her up on the ladder).
The last time I was able to photograph these amazing little ruby-throated hummingbirds was in 2014. I just stood there with my Canon 1DX and 100-400mm lens and handheld the shots because they were so fast, I could barely get them with the camera on the tripod.
Yes, I used a flash because that helped freeze the action and get a good clear image,

This isn't the best quality photo, but it is a capture of something I'd never seen before. There was a group of around 5-7 ducks in the same area who were just swimming about and then suddenly they simultaneously raied their rear ends out of the water for just a second, and then relaxed again. I'd love to know what this behavior was about. It was obviously some kind of communication. I failed to notice if they were all male or not, though this photo shows them to be. Any ideas???

Bruce became the biggest hero to her Well until she seen Donnie Yen's first movie, then Donnie became her hero. After graduating from college in Arkansas later on in life Latrice moved to Texas she research different Martial Arts Schools.
Latrice only wanted to study martial arts from the best she studied Tae Kwon Do, from a Grand Master from Korea & Kungfu from a Sifu from China her hopes & dreams is to become a action hero & work side by side with Donnie Yen & Jet Li along with other great action hero's. Latrice is also studying Mandarin Chinese.
Latrice started her acting career in high school plays such as Show Biz & Broadway Connection & was voted the best actress in her Drama class. But her big break came when she played a juror in the action movie Stone Cold. Latrice was also a extra in three scenes from a Independent Short Film that went to Sundance Film Festival.

Missouri Buttes 3:1 Aspect is literally 3 for the 1. Add the Devil’s Tower and the Bear Lodge Mountains to their left.
This early morning (2 minutes after sunrise) on the Pass to RockyPoint Wyoming was clear sky. Alpenglow was lit up by the low angle far traveled rays. Those long yellow and reds are the only light to make it through the hundreds of miles of atmosphere. Only then they refract off the ice needles to my camera. A yellow sky in the morning is a VERY common thing in the winter.
This is a view to the south west . This location overlooks MOST of northern Crook County in Wyoming with the Bear Lodge Mountains coinciding with the South Dakota border. A REALLY big area covered in this 3:1 Aspect image (60 inches by 20 inches). Triplet aside, this is one wide image.
This is a 3 photo (left/center/right) composite) corrected for perspective and seamlessly integrated together). This is not a panoramic telephone image lol. I must admit that I like panoramic cell phone camera images very much. Handy as heck. However they will not quite go to 60 inches wide lol.
This was a beautiful morning for a clear sky sunrise. These kind of morning are all about the side shows, not the sunrise itself. It was calm, little or no wind (rare), you could hear cattle calling from miles around. The air was crisp and clean as can be.
