I think the fall is about 50 meters high
There is a true story to to be told from this fall wich is called Brudesløret in Norwegian. A brides veil on english. And the name comes from the look of this fall.. On the very top of this fall there is an old road wich was used under WW2. There was a summerday under WW2 that a happy newly married french couple by accident drove of the road and ended up in the bottom and did not survive...
Its also told that a norwegian busdriver offered his life for the country as a busdriver on this road.The bus was loaded with german soldiers and he drove of the road and they all as the french couple died...

Although the Dutch railway system is generally performing relatively well, it does have its aggravating sides. Due to the denseness of the service and the unsatisfactory preventive maintenance of trains and infrastructure (track & signalling) the service breaks down frequently. And when this happens the traveller's information can be woefully inadequate. Luckily when there is a serious disruption generally busses are swiftly pushed into service. But the swiftness ends when the busses enter the congested motorway system, like here.

I don’t know if this is a CNG (compressed natural gas), XD40/XDE40 (Excelsior Diesel/Excelsior Diesel Electric Hybrid 40-Foot), but it ran and sounded clean on the streets of Scottsdale, AZ. I do miss driving these coaches. I currently drive for a private company, but having a better sense of how to handle these beasts with an occasional unruly group of people, should I go back into public transit, things will definitely be different for me.

I think this chap is one of the dozens of tour bus drivers who operate in Killarney & the National Park. He was enjoying a bit of peace & quiet while his passengers wandered around Muckross House & Gardens. HWW!
Bournemouth 297 trolleybus and its guardian. One of the many vintage and heritage trolleybuses at the transport museum at Sandtoft near to Scunthorpe in the UK. Lovely early April sunshine was the order of the day for the first open day of the museum for the 2025 season. 5th April 2025.
The driver is just visible through the reflections of the front window.
