This Dragonfly is the first I have managed to photograph. She was absolutley beautifull, I believe it is a female Common Darter Sympetrum striolatum.
Many thanks to Eddie (a.k.a Wildlife On The Go The Bugman) who helped me correctly identify her as a female Black-tailed Skimmer ~ Orthetrum cancellatum. .

I then marked out where stone work for the fireplace would go, then measured spots to put windows in, and then the door. This was done using a large drill bit then a saw

Some Bugman artistry in permanent marker on the floorboards underneath the dining table. I'm on the top and Bugs is at the bottom.
I then primed the rest of the furniture and got to painting! A very time consuming process for this much.
