I woke up with these two unbearably itchy bug bites on my forearm on Tuesday morning. Later in the day they developed these weird blisters in the center of each bite. Hard to see in the picture, but there's a large reddish swollen area surrounding the smaller red bites and blisters. I was sure we had bed bugs and were doomed, but after cleaning psychotically, reading bed bug info on the internets for hours, and suffering no further bites (yet), I think I may have jumped to a wrong conclusion. I hope.

i'm going to write something here later.

put in simple words for now, this is how i feel about trust. That it's a long road and I can't see what's ahead and that scares me.

I do a lot of photos about trust. I know. for me photography is something I express my feelings through. Trust is something that happens to be on my mind a lot and something that I'm building on, making that part of me better.

I has been tagged!

1.I was driving when I took this.

2.I don't understand why I have so many bugbites this summer :/

3.I have playlists that go from Godsmack to Nick Jonas. normal? probably not

4.I hate sites like Facebook/Myspace/Tumblr/Formspring. Yes. I have or have had all of them but I don't use any of them now. All it equals is drama and trouble that I have no need for.

5.Since 10th grade of high school I've felt the need to stay above drama. I do not put myself into positions that I know will in the end cause drama. I live a pretty peaceful life.

6.I really like this picture. I don't care if it isn't wonderful, I love it.

7.I can't wait to be a Mom. (but I will wait. until I'm at least 25)

8.I love my cocoa butter lotion. yum.

9.I am a grammar natzi. I'm warning you, so if you ever have a conversation with me PLEASE do not make me go on attack.

10.Silly bandz are the most ridiculous trend. Sad to say I officially own one now, but only because a little girl gave it to me. It was purple(my favorite color) and in shape of a Clarinet(the instrument I played for 7 years) so she thought of me. :)

I was going through my digital archive and discovered I have a week or so of photos from when we lived in Edinburgh that I never uploaded. So here we go...

it is really hard to take a clear picture of the back of ones arm. There is a faint dot in the middle and a circle around it making it a 'bulls eye" pattern. No itch, and it's not raised up. My mom, stepmom, and dad all pointed this out to me at different times. I didn't even know I had it and no idea what this is from either. Everyone says tick bite or ringworm.

EDIT 7/3/08 : It is definitely a tick bite. I tested positive for lyme disease and went through a 3 week course of Doxycyclin. Supposedly that's all I have to do. If I'd taken a photo sooner, it would have been a clearer bullseye.

Not far enough from the Open City, Megatron and Soundwave review the current state of the war in their command base.

"This is the latest footage from the battle of New Solis," Soundwave said.

"Ah, Trypticon in all his glory," Megatron observed

"The Autobots mounted a retreat as soon as Trypticon arrived," Soundwave said.

"A wise move on their part... still I had expected more of our ultimate weapon."

"Megatron?" Soundwave asked.

"He has vast potential, has such an imposing presence, but he is too docile. I need him to be hungry for combat... let him destroy the enemy before they have a chance to escape from him," Megatron said.

"I'm not sure how to accomplish that level of conditioning," Soundwave said.

"Yes, well, I'm certain a solution will present itself," Megatron said.

[I wasn't sure for a while if I was going to end this story when the Full Tilt plotline was resolved... but I'm leaning towards continuing it, and expanding it to include non-transformers as well.]

[I had been prepared to add an original character to this story... still not sure what figure would have represented him... he would have been a brilliant mastermind. It caught me completely by surprise when Bugbite revealed the main scheme had been his in the last two shots... I did not see that coming. I guess Retcon will be added in some other time, maybe.]

I love the work of both artists. They're truly amazing.

"Enough of this," Alternity Megatron entered through a tear he had made in spacetime. With a slash of his sword, he disrupted the field Bugbite's machine was generating, and with the blade on his other arm, he made sure Fracture knew that resistance would not be tolerated.

Surprisingly, Leader-1 transformed and fired, disabling Bugbite's Target Master.

Bugbite himself was knocked back by a blast from Masterlord's cannons.

"Even now, with everything that is at stake, you distribute love-taps," Megatron said.

Masterlord answered, "As an agent of the Alternity, I do feel some guilt at his plight. We should have helped them."

"Too late for regrets," Megatron said, "now that you have driven them mad with revenge."

[The more I write Bugbite, the more he seems like Beast Wars era Tarantulas. I've come to the conclusion that he and those of the Tripedicus Council are not descendants of Unicron as Megatron's insult suggested, but are instead descended from displaced Gobots.]

"Is Full Tilt secured?" Fracture asked.

"Yes, provided he is only guarded by drones and Gobots, like us," Bugbite said.

"I don't understand," Fracture said.

"Of course you don't, Crasher, and the amusing thing is, neither does he. But the question I have is this: What are you going to tell Megatron?"

'You may have rebuilt my Gobot body into this Transformer form, but my name is Fracture now."

"Yes, of course, named for your fractured heart. Megatron can be quite the poet. You were always the easiest to read back on Gobotron… you loved power. You fell in love with Leader-1 because of his strength, but when Cy-Kill appeared with the strength to defy Leader-1, you fell in love with him instead. Now it is only natural that you fawn over Megatron, but what I don't understand is why, during the final days of our reality crumbling around us, did you fall in love with that joke of a Guardian, Smallfoot?"

"You think you are so cleaver, Bugbite, but you know nothing. True, our reality was falling apart all around us, to the point that Guardian and Renegade worked together to find a solution. But it was poor weak little Smallfoot, whom I use to scoff at who would always come back at us with determination, she was filled with an undeniably strong will, she kept me going when all seemed lost. She was the strongest of us all... but when we crash landed in this reality, on this world, it was an Autobot who killed her, fracturing my heart beyond repair. The question really is, why shouldn't I tell Megatron everything your doing here?"

"You've seen that I have expanded our ranks, adding new Gobots to our ranks, including Gobots from alternate Gobot realities, as opposed to the Transformer variations. Full Tilt has a unique energy, that an Ally of mine can use to... well, lets just say there is a chance you may be able to see your Smallfoot again."

Camping has its downsides. Like allergic reactions to bug bites.

"This is Autotrooper 3 reporting in," the Autotrooper said over his communicator. The Autotroopers were artificially created transformers that developed their sparks by feeding off human hosts. Not every Trooper is proud of their origins. "Barricade, Streetwise and I have located the suspect Full Tilt. But something is wrong. The scene has been staged. The suspect and two others were already in stasis-lock, and there is evidence that some large machinery has been removed."

"Be sure to tell them that Leader-1 here has given us some very strange care instructions for our prisoner," Streetwise said.

"I was getting to that," the Autotrooper said.

"Just get one with it," Barricade barked. "We need to get these suspects transferred into the holding cells as soon as possible."

August 12, 2021. This spot, about 15 km out of Kingston, is where I sat down for half an hour and had a videoconference with a colleague in England. It was my last day on the trail for now, with the ride ending after 40 km at a hotel near the train station. I had water, a pizza, watched a ball game, and basically just enjoyed what has been a fantastic experience. Now to recover from the bugbites and the bruises...

Not wanting to shoot a run-of-the-mill type lunar eclipse shot, I dragged my wife to Short Beach very early in the morning to get the landscape with the moon. Unfortunately, true to the weatherman's prediction, the viewing time was so short that the moon vanished by the time we got to the beach!

While being bitten by tiny nearly invisible bugs on my scalp, neck and arms, I took a few shots of the beach, scenery and wildlife as the sun came to view over the mountain and treetops. The "golden" moment was over so quickly before I even realized it!

This osprey was very vocal so I went over and took a couple of shots of him before we left while he eats which looks like a bird (?!) since I think I saw feathers on it.

I couldn't tolerate the bugbites which prompt me to leave earlier than I would want.

This image was shot with the Bigma with a Tamron SP 2x tele-converter. I had to manual focus which I find next to impossible at 1000mm especially since half of my concentration is on trying to ignore the bugbites! lol!

Full Tilt's head detached and transformed into a Micromaster sized Minicon.

"I am Necro," the Minicon said. "You are strange... one of you contains too much spark energy to consume, and the others none... how is this possible?"

"I don't know why my former Brothers gave life to such an abomination as this," The Fallen said, "But his spark energy will be enough to power your machine."

Following a tip that Full Tilt had been seen entering Turbo's the police force stages a raid.

The result was not what Bugbite had hoped for. The Police Robo immediately surrendered, and without backup, the remaining Robo combiner was quickly overwhelmed.

They quickly learned several facts. That Turbo had not been seen in weeks, and Full Tilt had been taken by Bugbite to another location.

Prowl quickly dispatched units to Bugbites known hangouts.

killing time while a cake bakes. been playing with my food all together too much lately.

Thursday was an awefully boring day at work and because of the weather I decided to take the afternoon off for some shooting. I visited my friends the grebes once more and I was glad to see that the remaining chick was still around.

It was a good decision to go shooting, when I arrived at the spot it was slightly overcast. Mother nature provided me with her natural softbox. Also lady Fortune smiled upon me as the grebes were in a place where I had acces to nice covered seat on grass with 2 openings in the reed. A spot fishermen would love.

I loved it too because I was able to get down on my belly for this lowlevel POV. It took me some bugbites, a stiff neck and a muddy camera but I had a hell of a time and some very nice shots :)

Offcourse, for maximum detail please view in Lightbox.

I got a new dress the other day for 2.00. It's an indian dress. It had really really big poofy sleeves. I cut them off. I have bugbites.

Sometimes the best kept secrets are hiding right in your very own backyard!

After spending a successful rain free day at the water park in the Dells it was now time to search out my POD for the day. The country is a beautiful place, as long as you don't lose cell reception and get totally stranded in the wrong part of town. While driving Highway 23 out of Wisconsin Dells I decided to take a risk and take a turn down a road I'd never really paid attention to before, venturing further out of the Dells on winding roads with beautiful landscapes but no place to pull over! Finally I saw a great scene, so I pulled into a drive way of a house nearby and then pulled off the road. I had to be careful as with lot's of heavy rains the ground was very saturated and caused my feet to sink as I stepped out of my vechicle. Instead of shooting with the nifty fifty that has become my go to lens as of late, I opted for my 18mm 3.5 AI-S (landscapes are better wide most times anyway). No tripod in hand I used a steady hand and keen eyes to frame up the shot the way I wanted and clicked a few test photos. I found that it was too dark looking deeper into the woods so I had to boost my ISO to 800 to get a fast enough shutter speed, and then I started messing around with the aperture (something about full metal clicks makes it much more appealing). I tried 5.6/8/11 (if I had the tripod I could have steadied a lot more and done a true HDR) but I eventually kept the lens at f11 to grasp detail through the frame. The bugs were bad and I had to be careful of ticks, as being in the woods presents this sort of obstacle. I couldn't stand the constant nagging of blood suckers all around, and left quickly with a few images I knew I could work with (and no bug bites to boot!). This neat little area is located in Dellona,WI just outside of the Dells off Beaver Creek Road, maybe I'll venture back in the fall and winter to see what kind of colors show.

Think windex will help?

Ouch. This was a little raised bite the night before, now it's something a little worse. Tomorrow the leg is off!

Full Tilt burst into Turbo's office,

Something is wrong, the voice in his head said. They aren't natural. They wont do.

Determined to ignore the voice, Full Tilt looks for Turbo, but instead he sees one of Megatron's mad scientists, Bugbite.

He is approached by a Minicon, Leader-1, who speaks to him in a machine language. ~~Turbo's is under new management. You should run~~

Even the Minicon is unnatural, the voice said.

"Bugbite, where's Turbo?"

"When I came to visit my old friend," Bugbite said, "He seemed to think I wanted a fight, so he ran. After all, a Gobatron body cannot stand up to a Transformer. I would have upgraded his body for him, but the old Guardian will never trust an old Renegade like me."

"I don't understand," Full Tilt said.

"Of course you don't," Bugbite said. "You see, except for Blowpipe here, all of my friends here are not Cybertronian Transformers, or even from this reality. We came from a different, yet similar reality, that was destroyed.

"I was part of an expedition to try to prevent that destruction, but we failed. The rest came later, refugees from a crumbling reality that no longer exists… I use to crave revenge on your kind for destroying my world, but now I know you are innocent victims as well... but you, Full Tilt, are special."

"Does that mean you aren't going to turn me over?"

"Of course not... You have a special energy about you, an energy that I need to complete my own plans..."

[This plot twist was a necessity, because I don't actually have access to a Turbo figure. In face I would have done a photo story like this to tell my "Final Challenge" story, except I don't have Turbo, Scooter, or Smallfoot. figures.]

Hit by a blast to the leg, Full Tilt went down, and was quickly surrounded.

"Don't kill him. I need him alive," Bugbite said.

Fitor, combined with his drones and approached to keep an eye on Full Tilt.

"Fitor, when did you learn to do that?" Fracture asked.

"Alas, Crasher," Bugbite said, "That is not the same Fitor we knew. He came from a different universe where he was captured, and forced to do community service as part of a rescue squad."

"I'm called Fracture now," Fracture said. "We will discuss this more, once the prisoner is secured."

"Indeed we will, Crasher," Bugbite reassured her.

So, day fourteen is supposed to be scars that I have on my body, but I could only find / think of twelve. And some of those even don't really count as scars. Oops. Aha oh well.

1. I have a scar along the side of my nose from when I was two. I was sitting at a table and there was a binder in front of me, with it's claws open. I fell onto the metal rings and scratched all down my nose. It used to be a lot longer and noticible but it's been fading over the past 13 years.

2. I have a scar on my chin from skating a few years ago. Me and a friend were fooling around and I fell, cutting my chin open on the ice. It was like a round circle of skin had been ripped from my chin, and I had to get stitches.

3. I have a faint scar on my right hand shaped in a backwards C from my kitten Nemo scratching me.

4. I have a wierd little scar thing on my elbow and I have no idea where it came from, but it's been there for a while.

5. I don't know if this counts as a scar, but I have a mole on the middle of my back.

6. These aren't scars, but I have four cuts on my leg from yesterday when me and my friend were playing with some grass. Yes, that's right, I cut myself on grass. Pretty talented eh?

7. I have a scar on my left knee from when I accidentally leaned my knee against the open back of an atv, burning myself on the engine.

8. I have a little wierd mark on the top of my right knee cap. It kinda looks like the one on my elbow...

9. I have a wierd little area on my leg that has a wierd texture and I think it's a scar from something, but I dunno from what.

10. I have another wierd spot on the top of my right foot that looks like the burn scar on my knee, so I'm guessing maybe I burned my foot...?

11. On both my pinky toes I have these wierd bump things that are like calloused and stuff. I used to think they were from my converse, but I think theyre from stuffing my feet in my skates all the time.

12. I also have various minor scars from bugbites that I scratched too much....

"I had told you that my goals for this machine were different from yours. I didn't mind if we wound up actually helping each other," Bugbite said.

"But these settings are too wide, too unstable, the outcomes will be impossible to predict," the Baltan said. "I must change it back..."

Bugbite fired, blasting a hole through the alien.

"In order to save as many Go-bots as I can, I need to cast as wide a net as possible, to save them, and bring them here. What do I care if all of creation is obliterated in the process?" Bugbite said. "On the plus side, there is a chance your race will survive now too. Your home planet may even survive... until all of creation crumbles into nothingness, but.. Ill burn that bridge when I come to it."

Today, I picked up this tiny little fellow from the post office. He is a Bugbite made by Chris Ryniak.

He is supercute, tho I think I I might paint his teeth white to show them off a bit better.

When your invited to a back yard cook out, make sure your not the main course. It was an "all you can eat" buffet, and the moquitoes ate a lot. And this shot was taken 48 hrs after the attack, these bites were twice the size the day before.

Every Cybertronian knows the origin myth that Cybertron was created by Primus... but before the transformers, he first made 13 Primes to carry his message and intent on past his slumber. Of the original thirteen Primes, some were good, some evil, but all served the ultimate will of Primus... all save one, whose name was erased from all of space and time, to be known only as The Fallen. While Primus laid plans to replace his fallen with a new Thirteenth, the Fallen still worked to undermine his creators plans.

The Fallen joined the displaced Renegades from Gobatron in their interrogation of Full Tilt.

"Whats wrong? Why cant I move?" Full Tilt said.

WHATS WRONG, WHY CANT I MOVE?

"I didn't do anything wrong! I didn't kill those people!" Full Tilt said.

BUT I DID.

"I don't care about that," Bugbite said. "I want that unique energy source of yours. Reveal yourself!"

"If you do not reveal yourself, I shall cause you intense pain," The Fallen said, "for both of you!"

"What? What are you talking about?" Full Tilt said.

FINE

"What? What's fine?" Full Tilt said.

Sanibel lighthouse just after sundown...

"Is the equipment ready?" Bugbite asked.

"Indeed it is," the Baltan alien said. "All it lacks is the power source."

"I have secured the power source, thanks to information provided to me by... my sources."

"Indeed, I never thought such an energy source would exist on such a world," the alien said. "And to think after all these years... My planet, you see, was destroyed in a nuclear test on our sun... the few of us who escaped found our way to Earth, where our survival ship was destroyed by Ultraman! Truly a crime worse than Ultraseven's destruction of the Pegassa. With this device, I will squelch time, to save my people before their destruction..."

"Yes, about that," Bugbite said.

"Wait you have altered the settings... you have changed it to effect realities in addition to just time..."

I had a nasty reaction to a bug bite - it has taken weeks to heal.
