While waiting to make a left turn, I looked over and saw these trees had buds on them despite the 5F temperature. No doubt it's a result of last Sunday's 45F temperatures. Taken with my camera phone.
...three weeks later
After several inches of snow that managed to stick when all of our mini snowfalls didn't, and freezing temperatures halting the emerging plants, we finally have flowers on the trees and the grey palette is beginning to lift.

Yay! Looks like one of the office cactii is going to flower this year - despite being years overdue for a re-pot!
