Looking more pepper-like by the day.

This bracelet is part of a collection of work in my shop that I call Seeds and Stones. Lovely pieces of jewelry created with stunning gemstones and tiny seed beads.

Always I find Agapanthus after taking picture of Lotus. It's also my favorite flower.

Aesculus glabra, or the Ohio buckeye tree, breaking bud in late April. This one is a late bloomer, as many of the buckeye trees are already fully leafed in.

It's always nice to see the buds on the trees and bushes beginning to burst open!

Some aspen trees just budding with leaves. I added some extra contrast to make it more exciting.

A previous assignment to the Continent luckily left me with some time to visit old friends.

This friend had just moved house, she's an Artist, a potter.

The weather had been just as dreary there in the beginning of July, so she painted her walls yellow. But even without that it always feels ‘sunny’ in her home.

They have two children; this is the eldest, the girl.

I watched her grow up over the years; she’s always been a creative child.

I have a plaster 'polar bear candle holder' which duly comes out every Christmas, numerous drawings on the fridge.

Now she’s maturing fast, this is some of her finest work, the stripy ones.

Not much had been unpacked so far, but in the kitchen and on the wall in the sitting room was a row of paintings on small canvasses that these young Artists produced, they each were extremely proud to point out which were theirs.

Normally they’re not keen on being photographed, but I said how important it is for an Artist to be seen with her work.

Tomorrow, the boy…

Memories of a very good day.

I wish you all the best of days and thank you for the visit, Magda. (*_*)

One of Denmark's three biggest circus had come to town with a big program. This little girl was soooo exited, she was killing time doing cartwheels while the adults were buying the tickets.

Decided to take a walk when I got home. Not far from where my wife and I live is a field and a large magnolia tree that is blossoming. I've been wanting to get a few pictures there.

I think this might be a crabapple tree - whatever it is,it doesn't produce fruit - just huge amounts of blossoms, early in the spring...
