My entry for the Foam - Macro brief.

Bubble Cells

John came to my house today so we had a go with the bubble tank I made

Eu quis amar mas tive medo e quis salvar meu coração

Mas o amor sabe um segredo o medo pode matar o seu coração

Água de beber, água de beber camará, água de beber, água de beber camará.

Eu nunca fiz coisa tão certa entrei pra escola do perdão

A minha casa vive aberta abri todas as portas do coração

In 1912 lumber baron, Simon Benson, donated $10,000 to the City of Portland, Oregon to install 20 drinking fountains. They became know as Benson Bubblers. A teatotaler, Benson hoped that the fountains would keep his lumberjacks out of the taverns. There are now 52 Benson Bubblers, most located in the downtown area of Portland. This exception is located in front of Benson High School. In 1916, Benson gave the Portland School District $100,000 to help fund the building of a polytechnic school, which became known as Benson Polytechnic High School.

Remember those "plastic bubbles" that you blow from a little tube with a straw?

Mais ce ne sont pas des mélanges de produit... juste de la macro sur des bulles d'air dans du verre d'un presse papier... la coloration vient d'image qui passe à l'arrière sur un écran LCD...

Thanks for the idea, Photojojo!

Isetta 'Bubble' car. Several makes of three-wheeled cars appeared after the second World War, filling the gap left by a devastated motor industry and using the minimum of sheet steel. The Isetta was designed in Italy in 1952 and more than 150,000 were built under licence by BMV in Germany. In 1959, a licence was granted for production in Brighton, where this one was built. The 1989 tax disc shows it as a tricycle and the 6 month tax was £22.00.

I had an arrangement of submerged flowers as a Christmas centrepiece and when I first placed the water in the vase, covering the flowers, milions of tiny bubbles collected on the glass and the flowers. I wanted something to create a background so placed the vase in front of the Christmas tree, and then used a flash pointing downward to add light to the tiny berry (about 1/4 inch diameter).
