Okay, probably another week with very little Flickr and photographing time ahead, so here's the entire output (26) of last weekend, for better or worse ....
I gave my Wife a Kodak M1093 IS Camera for Christmas. This is a photo she took of her nephew. I thought it was rather creative of her! :D

Probably needed much more exposure time in a dark sky location using an astro-modified camera with a nebula filter and a scope with clean mirrors! ‘Astrophotograhy for fun’ is my motto, so it matters not to me that this image of C11, the Bubble Nebula that I have made by stacking some shots that I captured yesterday evening is far from perfect😉 I did get to see a bright Leonid meteor zoom close by this target area (just a few seconds before the clouds arrived though!).
First go using bubbles didn't get the lighting how i wanted it but it was just to see if i could do it.

I've been trapped in the house for ages and I really needed something to photograph...Oil and Water - too cool! I've set a tall vase of water on top of a stripped towel and got this beach ball looking abstract and I love it.

Please note - for all of these photos, there's very little post processing going on. Just a little exposure correction and some sharpening...
probably not the safest piece of wood to have added to the fire, but it sure made for some fun, to watch & shoot!
Walking along in Paris when suddenly the air is filled with soap bubbles. Rounding a corner we spy this photo shoot happening inside this building, with the bubbles spilling out into the street. Blasé Parisiens paid little heed, but many tourists stopped to take pictures.
