The experiments with lighting bubbles in a fishtank, just using the cameras popup flash continue.
Phase 2 was to include a bit of colour into the mix. A fairly simple addition by placing a couple of pieces of fun foam to the backdrop and to the sides of the tank. The flash hitting the backdrop projects the light back into the tank from behind.
As the flash is directed over the tank, the green, white and orange reflectors are above the tank, while a black background is directly behind.
Although I like the effect of disappearing into the black, next step is to try and light the bottom a little better, more reflectors needed ;-)
In Old Madrid this fellow, like the Pied Piper, drew a crowd of ecstatic little ones, chasing and 'catching' the bubbles.
I have blown quite a few bubbles now and know that this bubble has a very thin soap layer and so it nearly acts like a spherical mirror!
bubble of thought free to fly over my head, empty. just letting go everything I know,
just letting go all the things I think about myself,
just letting myself go away in the deep blue color of the sea.

"The Baron of Bubble" entertains passersby in Father Hennepin Park, Minneapolis, with especially large bubbles.

Bubbles and a magic wand make this a special birthday surprise. This was a replica of a picture brought to us, I'm not sure who originally made it though

Iko blows some bubbles away to cheer up the industrial landscape.
Straight from the camera, with no editing.
I was thinking of an image (www.flickr.com/photos/jbone66/8385445896) by jbone66 when I attempted this shot. I wanted to catch the bubble partway through bursting, but ended up getting an entire bubble resting on the bamboo sticks or else a splatter of bubble guts as another one bit the dust.
This was my best shot of lot before I ran out of bubble juice.
The inside of the British Museum provides a stark but pleasantly surprising contrast compared to it's staid exterior. My breath was taken away when I entered this great hallway for the first time.

Twenty-three bubble gum pink pearls are clustered together to make this flirty, feminine necklace. I really enjoy the substantial feeling of the pearls while the sterling silver chain is delicate and light. Also the graduated line makes for a graceful flourish.
Each pearl has been hand-wrapped with sterling silver wire individually before being attached to the 16 inch chain. The Tahitian pearls measure a fantastic 6 by 10 mm.

Trukid Bubble Podz( www.trukid.com/collections/featured-eczema-products/produ... )originated the day Jennifer Adams Bunkers, a mother of six, found two of her children using her wrinkle cream and realized that a concoction used to zap crows’ feet probably wasn’t suitable for young skin. In researching children’s products available, most were unhealthy and full of nasty chemicals, or smelled “yucky,” according to her kids.
There are many great things about having children, one of which is their love for bubble blowing. My family and I were recently at the Children's Museum in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and my kids were playing with the large bubble display. My daughter was making humungous bubbles (3+ feet long) from a very soapy substance. I was taking pictures of the bubbles and managed to catch this one while it was in the process of popping. This bubble was approx. 80% through its explosion when I captured it in the frame.
