Sorry guys I accidentally deleted my last 2 posts from yesterday so had to re-post.

This picture is poopy because of course I waited until the afternoon thunderstorm rolled in to try to take pictures. :/

I'm really happy with this dress though! I used some of the lovely fabric Sher sent me a few weeks ago.

She's such a lovely little model.

The more you try to catch it the more elusive it becomes. So don't try to catch it...let it catch you instead. ^^

Another one! I love this fabric. I'm going to work on one in green later.

Challenge for "Get Pushed" as proposed by fellow group member FatalReincarnation www.flickr.com/photos/29440231@N06/ ..to get a shot of me standing on a railroad track and particularly without getting killed ;) - and I'm happy to say, mission accomplished! Although, not 5 minutes after this shot, an Amtrak train came on through. I was done shooting anyway and had more than enough time to move my things and get into the car to go, but it got me to thinking that it was a good thing I was on a straight away, for if the track were curved, I wonder if I would have seen or heard it in time to make as graceful an exit with all my gear. Thanks for the challenge, Haroon..and for getting me to work outside my comfort zone - it was fun. Looking forward to seeing your challenge photo! :)

I attended to Momolita sewing class on making a Bubble dress. It is my second class I attended to with her.

Old 60s style photo!

Who likes purple? I do I do. Here is a photo of me wearing my lovely purple bubble dress with spaghetti straps and an empire waist. I pulled it up just a teeny bit at the waist to show off a little more of my bare legs.

I tried something new this time by holding up the long haired wig with a hair clip. I think the effect was quite lovely, don't you?

Please comment if you like what you see. Thank you so much and have a marvelous weekend.

P.S. It's Royal Rumble weekend...Go Rock!!!

P.P.S. How funny that Rick, my boy persona does not like the Rock but for some odd reason, my girl persona, Toni, does like the Rock. Go Figure.

We've hit a lot of big numbers here on Flickr and would put those milestones right up there with any other award we've won and accolade we've received. We believe in genuine people and that is exactly what we've found here at Flickr

Confession: We are chronic creators.

Until recently it was more of a fault than it was a quality and all to often one project would be trumped or loose traction because a new idea derailed it. We've got lists upon lists of products, projects, causes and services. A few have seen the light of day like 60 Second Shirt, Brvsh.com and in the next few weeks Brotector… but as we started to near the 1000 image mark here on Flickr I've been preoccupied by this idea that we have to hit 1000 posts in style and with a purpose. So, we dusted off one of those old ideas that should have been done long ago and started shooting for the Recycled Wardrobe Collection.

The Recycled Wardrobe Collection

www.therecycledwardrobe.com

Purpose: To promote the values of Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling (RRR) in a creative and stylish way.

Here's the thing about causes though… you can't just go all Bono and save the world by yourself. So we are reaching to you. Join us in creating images that are eye catching and creative while promoting the easiest concepts in the world… RRR.

A Call for submissions:

We want to make this a shared project with other creative minds. Follow our lead or take this in your own unique direction. Just makes sure it's tasteful and that it applies to the focus of gaining awareness for Recycling, Reducing and Reusing.

It's a regal hue. Hand beaded angora wool yarn bubble dress by Brian Blythe. Furniture by Morrison Studios. Séverine by Julian Kalinowski.

While I was scouring my stash for a costume to put together, I came across this little number from my past. I have to admit I was never quite happy with both previous times. This time, I paired it with my long straight wig, patent black stilettos and an over-sized belt. I also went without hose, tights or stockings this time. It's not often I do this because hosiery tends to hide imperfections in one's legs.

Here's two angles for your viewing pleasure.

Please don't forget to leave me a nice comment. They let me know if I'm doing something right and should post more of this series.

I'd also ask anyone who clicks the "Favorite" on this to leave a comment as to why you chose to add it to your faves.
