A little westie a relaxing day at the Bubbles n Biscuits grooming salon

Prompt: A charming, ultra-realistic watercolor-style digital fine art of a West Highland Terrier puppy sitting in an old-fashioned clawfoot bathtub filled with soft bubbles. The westie gazes adorably forward with big, soulful eyes and its front paws rest gently on the tub’s edge. Surrounding the tub are spa-like details: folded lavender towels, stacked soap bars on a wooden tray, bottles of lotions, a jar of cotton balls, and a small potted plant. Fresh flowers in a glass vase and a sprig of lavender in a ceramic pot add a natural touch. Above the scene, mounted on the wooden plank wall, is a rustic wooden sign with bold, friendly lettering that reads: “Bubbles N Biscuits”. The typography is playful yet elegant, perfectly complementing the cozy, whimsical atmosphere.

Stopper In A Bubble Bath Bottle

And this dear friends is why I am going to make Earth Hour a part of my weekly routine.

Taken with an iPhone 15 Pro Max.

There's nothing better than a morning soak with this bubble bath. Smells divine and leaves my skin feeling so soft!

a duck and bubble bath

On a cold winter's day, relaxing in a nice warm/hot bubble bath sounds like the perfect way to commemorate National Bubble Bath Day. Is it no wonder we celebrate it annually on January 8th. The bubbles on top of the water (also known as foam bath or foaming bath) insulate the bathwater, keeping it warmer for a more extended period.

Prompt: create a digital fine art, ultra-realistic. West Highland White Terrier puppy. The puppy is sitting in a bathtub filled with fluffy white soap bubbles, wearing a light blue shower cap, mouth open in a happy laugh, holding a bath brush. Maintain the bathroom setting with tiled walls, visible faucet and shower head, floating soap bubbles, and warm, soft indoor lighting.

Enhance realism and artistic polish: fur detail, foam translucency, and bubble reflections while keeping the original composition, camera angle, and framing intact. Match lighting, shadows, and color temperature consistently across all elements; no halos, cutout edges, or distortion. Style: whimsical yet refined digital fine art, cinematic soft lighting, gentle depth without artificial blur, clean color harmony, painterly realism suitable for gallery illustration. Vertical Aspect Ratio

Salmon Fishing.. balanced my camera on the viewing platform railing to get this exposure..pretty happy with results considering no tripod!

There was a stiff breeze in the chill air, and a pounding surf with lots of sea foam at Santa Monica Beach, California. This woman, shivering with gooseflesh, watched stalwarts cavorting in the water, hesitant to join them again.

...This doesn't happen very often, 2 days in a row not wearing any clothes....um since you are here, may I get up, there is a spot I can't quite get to....

This was the second part of my shoot with val yesterday. I have to say this is my fav shoot i have ever done with her. It was nice to see her step alittle out of her comfort level to produce some nice images. I think she did an amazing job and just comes out gorgeous. I actually had to delete a ton of pictures just because it was so hard for her to take a bad picture. My bathroom at my new place isn't to big and it was very hard to try and light the place. There was no way i was going to be able to get an umbrella in the bath tub with her so i just thought i would bounce the light and try to do that. Lucky my walls are a nice white color and defused the light very well. I couldn't of asked for these to come out any better. I wish i could of used my 50mm lens but it was to long for a situation like this. Even though there wasn't many poses she could do in this situation she gave me a ton to work with. The only thing that didn't work out was the rubber duckies that we bought. I guess they weren't the floating kind and just sank. This girl is flat out amazing. I wish i could see her more often.

ANSH scavenger9 Your/her/my happy place

(it's her happy place and post processing this picture in picmonkey made me think that that was *my* happy place)

I found myself with the most dreadful back pain I've had in a long time... without any discernible source/reason.

As I was driving home from the Rand's, (after Dawn had attempted to work it out, but found the muscles to be too tensed around it all) I remembered this fabulous ClawFoot that goes mostly unused as an actual tub, called up and asked to randomest favor ever. Praise God for a friend, willing to let me circumvent the bathroom for a good while in the middle of a Sunday afternoon!

It helped.

In The Light. I do like the way the the light is brighter on our left of the image and shadow on our right.

Surprisingly to me I had forgotten the camera at home and all I had in the car was my iPhone. I wanted to find something with a possible story.

Here she is ... lucky number 13 in the Project 366 2016.

Day 2 of However Many Days I Feel Like Doing

I have this fantastic friend Kerry, who is always telling me the same thing: "Take it easy, be kind to yourself".

Today she was the one who needed the kindness, and I sincerely hope she was able to go home and have a bubble bath and soak her worries away.

So how was I kind to myself tonight? I got some bubble bath and my favourite M&S Ready Meal on the way home from work, soaked in a very bubbly bath, and killed a few million braincells by watching 'America's Next Top Model' on YouTube.

Bliss.
