I bought a couple of mini LED spotlights and thought I'd have fun with my novelty Batman bubble bath bottle.

11.09.09 64/365 At the end of a long, stressful day...there's nothing much more relaxing than a bubble bath.

Another bubble bath, its very relaxing and good for my sore back. Plus taking advantage of the decent hot water in the bath at my parent's house.

The biggest of LUSH's bubble bars, The Comforter has a smooth blend of sweet berry cream scents that do not overpower.

Looks good enough to eat !

I injured my back some years ago and spent many hours soaking in hot epson salt baths. These are a few of my companions from those days. We still hang out.

A bubble bath and Action Man's ready.

No potty related accidents and hewas a perfect dining companion at Matsuyama with mommy.

Precious was totally enjoying a bubble bath recently

So today i took purchase of my new Nikon SB-910 Flashgun. Haven't really had too much to do with flashes but only do to with studio lighting kits (Bowens)

So experimenting with the flashgun for the past 4 hours or so with different power outputs, different subjects, shutter speeds etc and finally came onto the idea of trying to do some cool backlit shots.

I personally think the photo is pretty awesome and i'm very, very pleased with the results

*ahhh... sundays.

Book + bubble bath + house to self = quiet time

So, this is the first bath I've had since my surgery! Oh man did I need it to help relax after my couple of crazy days I've had at work. First day of seven without the Parts Manager, and getting up super early. The bubbles are from a Happy Bubble Bar from one of my faveorite companies LUSH. There are SO many bubbles, they last the entire bath and smell delish!

Day 55

It’s definitely a bubble bath day. ~From a Dove Dark Chocolate wrapper.

Who am I to argue with a chocolate wrapper?

Today was rat cage scrubbing day.

Noticed that the poor dear had a musty smell all over (got her second hand). She had a nice shampoo and bubble bath and no longer smells like a stuffy attic.

Here is one of the three ceramic stands with all kinds of bath goop that came as a set for $15 from Sam's Club.

(Yes, I continue to be tormented by patronizing anything to do with Wal-Mart. But it's okay if I feel guilty about it, right? No? Sigh...)

This scent is "Pear Joy." See the other photo for more details.

The bath bomb on the bottom shelf is something I added; it's from "Basin" at Downtown Disney in Anaheim. (A store I love sooooo much more than "Lush," although I'm sure "Lush" came first. But don't get me started on "Lush" versus "Basin" - unless you were really turned on by the Netscape vs. Internet Explorer wars of the 1990s...)

Our Christmas elf sure knows how to relax after a long trip to the North Pole - soaking in a bubble bath, complete with cucumbers on his eyes, bath loofah and back scrubber and a candle to set the mood.

I love that my tatooed army sargent husband loves bubble baths!

Taken for Active Assignment weekly. Assignment for the month of May: Selfportrait without people:

Portray your essence without including any part of yourself in the image.

There's nothing better after a hard, stressful day than a really hot bath, surrounded by lots of candles and preferably with mountains of bubbles, a selection of soft music and a glass of wine. I often sit there and read. I also used to sometimes eat a pizza. Though it doesn't taste quite as nice after having fallen into the water... (Yes, it has happened - as has the book once or twice.) Another important ingredient is Titanic, my little rubber duckie.

I usually wouldn't have a dictionary there, but since it's a self-portrait...

Handheld. I adjusted the levels and cropped out the CD player on the floor.

A relaxing bubble bath with 2 glow in the dark ducks!

I see some definite "spa-time" in my near future! Soooo relaxing.....
