I still haven't brought the lens, i definitely want one, love that shallow Dof and the creative possibilities it gives, but I just can't quite bring myself to blow £1k on it at the moment (not to mention i can't afford it :)

With the precious help of my friend and neighbor @Lola Vanilla, I spent time creating this space on my land. In RL, I'm just a fan of spas. D'you know that the world spa comes from the town of Spa in Belgium ? I happen to live real close to that place and I go to the historical spa in Spa pretty often. In these times of Covid, I can't.

So when I saw I had so much prims to use on a quarter of homestead, I said "If I can't go to the spa, the spa will come to me". And there is what I've spent the weekend and the beginning of the week doing. I'm quite proud !

Most of the items you'll see come from Black Nest, but also from Fourth Wall and Back bone. The rest is [Since 1975], SAYO, Kactus, HPMD, Apple Fall, ...

I am exhausted and it is only 6! Went to see Dave's sons' soccer game, had to leave early to go get my brazilian done, went and grabbed a bagel, ran a ton of errands, came home, did a shitload of housecleaning, then I decided to treat myself to a bubble bath (with also some new cranberry body scrub I got at the spa) and a home-made pedicure (because even though I WILL be working soon, I am still unemployed!). Now I am tired and the wind is the shits and it is making my allergies go nuts but now we are on our way to see the ROCKIES SWEEP PHILLY!!!!! WOOOO!!!!!

And for once, I am not bringing my camera. I will take the requisite Dave-n-Tara pic on my cellphone, but he will have his zoom lens to catch all the action of them winning. Huzzah!

OH AND: I think I only advertised it on my gchat status the other day, but, I got the job I interviewed for on Wednesday!!! Woohoo! It is not the one I said is potentially my dream job, but it is a job I think I will really like. I start the 17th, which is a Wednesday. My mom and brother are coming from Florida this Friday and staying till Monday and I said I could not start till Tuesday but they were all nice about it and told me to take an extra day to recoup. I like them already! :-)

I love the bathtubs in my grandmother's house. They are really deep. Badedas and hot water create a wonderful bubble bath!

Sam's Club tempted me again... and I am easily lured. Here are two of the three ceramic stands with all kinds of bath goop that came as a set for $15. All THREE for $15? I would've paid that just for the stands!

"Sugared Almond" is on the left and "Raspberry Vanilla" is on the right. Each comes with terrycloth bath sponge (is foam washable?), bath confetti (what is that?), triple pack of soaps, bath cream, body scrub, foaming body wash, and ceramic pump.

(The bath bomb on the left and the loaf soap on the right are things I added.)

It may all smell like perfumed *ss, I don't know, but I love the stands and plan to make some cards/ATCs out of the packaging materials, so the "goop" is all bonus.

(However, as I look at all three stands on the bathroom counter, it makes me think we may as well open a bed and breakfast.)

Another bubble bath, its very relaxing and good for my sore back. Plus taking advantage of the decent hot water in the bath at my parent's house.

Bought a couple of mini LED spotlights and thought I'd have fun with my novelty Batman bubble bath bottle.
