This was the second part of my shoot with val yesterday. I have to say this is my fav shoot i have ever done with her. It was nice to see her step alittle out of her comfort level to produce some nice images. I think she did an amazing job and just comes out gorgeous. I actually had to delete a ton of pictures just because it was so hard for her to take a bad picture. My bathroom at my new place isn't to big and it was very hard to try and light the place. There was no way i was going to be able to get an umbrella in the bath tub with her so i just thought i would bounce the light and try to do that. Lucky my walls are a nice white color and defused the light very well. I couldn't of asked for these to come out any better. I wish i could of used my 50mm lens but it was to long for a situation like this. Even though there wasn't many poses she could do in this situation she gave me a ton to work with. The only thing that didn't work out was the rubber duckies that we bought. I guess they weren't the floating kind and just sank. This girl is flat out amazing. I wish i could see her more often.

It was bath weekend at our house this weekend. Foxxy had her bubblebath on Saturday and she is almost dry. Baldr had his bath today. He was not so happy sitting in the tub for 10 minutes with the conditioner on, he almost disliked it as much as he dislikes the force dryer that comes afterwards. He did fall asleep on the grooming table under the standing dryer tho :)

After living for the last five years without a functioning bathtub I have been luxuriating in bubble baths since we got the bathroom-that-actually-has-a-bath renovated. There's nothing quite like hot bathwater, Lush bubblebath, a good book and a nice drink to put me in a happy, relaxed frame of mind.
Showers are all well and good if you are seriously dirty and just want to get clean fast, but I can't spend much time in a shower as I just get bored after I've cleaned myself off. You can't exactly take a good book into a shower and relax in the hot water and have a read. Hence my state of bliss now that I finally have a bathtub again! I hit up the Lush Boxing Day sale this year and bought myself a large box of bubble bars as well as some liquid bubblebath. I think I have enough to keep me going all winter if not all year :-)
Ben10 is obsessed with 2 cartoons - Spongebob Squarepants and Ben 10! We have had to buy all the kit to ensure that bathtime runs smoothly. Hair washing is always a contentious issue though....

After walking all day, a warm bubble bath with white musk aroma was really calming, hhhhhhhh..... So relaxing...
all thats missing is some bubblebath...well, maybe a bottle of champagne and some chocolate covered strawberries too...
millie is fascinated by water and this is the second time she's fallen into the bath. i get the feeling she'll never learn...
i might take a proper sp later today but just incase this camera phone diptych will have to do.
Palo, all those travel tips have worn me out ... and there is nothing like a bubble bath to ease those anxieties ... can you just bring another pot of warm water asap ... it's starting to chill a little in here!!
