A comparación de la foto previa donde estoy en la bañera pero triste, aquí sonrió porque estoy ilusionada con mi viaje....para ver a mi familia porque necesitaba mucho de su apoyo emocional.

1st day of Winter - thinking of a hot bath...

Iris: Lalalaaa, oh boy a nice not bubble bath just for me....

HEY! These dang frogs are always hogging the tub!!

Frogs: And just think - its Leap Year! We get one extra day!

I have some soap in my mouth. Hence, the odd expression.

Nature is full of surprises........there is even natural bubble bath that comes from the sea! Take a walk today and really open your eyes. Look for the unusual.......the hidden nest of birds in the trees, the tiny bugs frollicking in the new green grass, the inchworms working their way across the freshly sprouted leaves. Make it a point to discover something fresh and new each and every day!

Title: Ringling Circus clown Emmett Kelly in a bubble bath: Sarasota, Florida

Date: ca. 1955

General note: Photo taken as a favor to Kelly, who wanted the image for his Christmas card. Joe's wife, Lois Foley Steinmetz, was crouched down out of sight behind the chair that held Kelly's clothing, with an egg beater in her hand. After every shot Joe took, Lois would leap out of hiding, use the egg beater to increase the foam in the tub, and conceal herself once again. Visit the Florida Memory blog to learn more about this photograph as told by Joe and Lois's daughter, Lois Duncan.

Physical descrip: 1 photonegative - b&w - 5 x 4 in.

"Better Homes & Gardens"

July 1956

he looks down. moments pass. i look towards the bath, the shower running. i want to sit. i turn the faucet off, and switch the bath back on. i let the water circulate around me, inviting me to forget. i hear it say, "you don't have to feel. you don't have to breathe."

i don't know if he's here anymore. all i can sense is the water. it feels so warm, so good. i plunge in, ready to join my tormentors.

I decided to take a bubble bath today during the weirdest weather we've had all summer. I also had to go with one of my friends to take their dog to the vet as it was sick. The dog's okay now, so that's good!

I started school today, and I couldn't be happier with my classes.

2.25.11 Bubble Bath

I spent my Friday night sipping on wine and relaxing.

Most of these are bubble bath bottles – Soaky, Bubble Club, Kid Care, etc. But there are character containers for other products such as shampoo, liquid soap, honey, drink flavoring and even breakfast cereal (Mickey Mouse clown and Donald Duck astronaut, Nabisco Puppets, top shelf).

Thank you 62uolegnaiam for your wonderful idea of 50 years of music in a week tour! This is a blast!

Those Thomas the Tank Engine trains go everywhere with us....including the tub :)

Ok, so I decided to take a bath, which would make today's picture a little bit more interesting than the one of me straightening my hair. I was all ready to take this bath... got my soap pedals, candles, and of course, bubble bath out and then got in it and froze my ass off! The Boy took a shower before leaving to drink himself silly for St. Paddy's Day, which left no hot water for me. :(

I'm posting this, watching some tv, and then cranking that water back up to boiling so I can actually enjoy it! My back has been in a lot of pain, so the bath mixed with muscle relaxers should make for a lovely sleep tonight.

Twizzler bubble bath! It smells sooo good!

Its been a really long time since I've actually CREATED an image instead of just shooting it and doing the normal post processing that I do for my clients. I was inspired by another photographer (who's link I will post below) I saw and knew I had to create my own vision of what she shared. It was a lot of fun, and the kiddo got an amazing bubble bath with so many bubbles she don't know what to do. hahhahaha

Feb. 8th - Something you have had a long time

So growing up as as kid, bathtime came about the days that the Empire Strikes Back came out as a movie. And all the collectibles came with it. One item that somehow survived childhood was a shampoo/ bubble bath bottle from the era. After it was used up it was often used as a bath toy. Darth's head covers a screw on lid. Mom had packed it away for years and it wasn't until she had started to go through the boxes after all the moves that she rediscovered this gem and sent it my way.
