Quick post. Iffy on the picture.. but I'm rushing before I have to go to work lol. Dropped Ralfy off at work this morning.. ate at L&L with Wawa!.. went to bed bath & beyond.. then to target. Went to my house.. got bored and made some of my OWN bubbles since the other one SUCKED! haha.
"... Cuz I hate it when we don't kick it"... aww =) lol I was planning on going straight home after work but we worked somethin' out so I could just go straight to Ralfy's after I got off. I don't think we could go a day without each other lmao
Today is my birthday and all I wanted was to find Bubbles, a dog from yorkierescueme.com who had bolted from her new owner a week ago. So, I went to Maryland yesterday to join a group of searchers to make one last big effort to find her. I didn't have much hope but Laura, a wonderful tracker from missingpetpartnership.org had tracked Bubbles to the edge of a horse farm on Wednesday and we set out to look for Bubbles there.
To our shock, we walked practically straight to where Bubbles was hiding in a gully on some old blankets (area at the top of the picture). She still had her pink leash on and that was trailing out of her hiding place. In the map you can see how far she was from the house at the bottom.
Bubbles was weak and had lost a lot of weight but she seemed happy to be found and even wagged her tail when she got back home, despite all the hubbub around her.
We also got a lot of tips from this site:

Last but not least, I want to thank Donnita and Sarie. The group at the Yorkie rescue met Donnita through me (and, of course, I know Donnita from flickr) and included her on the email that they sent out asking for help in finding Bubbles. Donnita found the pethunter and sent the information to the group, and that is how we knew where to even start looking.
I am so happy that it all worked out. Happy Birthday to me!!

A light-hearted moment of a loved up young couple on an otherwise boring train commute.... The wishes, aspirations, memories, happiness and sorrows in those bubbles of life ahead!

Okay, so I just kind of like the pseudo-artsy look of this one. I don't do real artsy, so this'll have to do. They look like a rock album cover. Almost.
Yay! ParentDish.com used this photo as their image of the day. How exciting!
