These bubblers (is that just an Australian word?) in Houston airport reminded me of thost kitsch birds people put on their walls.

I really like the extreme-ness of this photo (the saturation of the pink bubble, the whiteness of the eyes, and the blueness of the irises). To shoot this, I used a diffused studio flash from directly above to create the washed over and equal tone. The flash was1/8th power and triggered by my camera.

Just cleaned the hutch out and put in place fresh newspaper, lots of fresh water, dried mealworm and meat based cat biscuits. Bubble and Squeak eat a whole tin of dog food a day.
Little do they know we have 14 inches of snow outside and would not have survived. I'm so glad I took them in and i'm so looking forward to their release in the spring.
