Bubbles continue to be a favorite subject matter for me... These are from the Maryland Renaissance Festival (Oct 2011)

This was shot fully manual during the midday sun using exposure settings from a separate spot meter. I really like the lighting on this one. Maybe it's time to permanently Super-Glue the old mode selector dial to the "M" position.

Trukid Bubble Podz( www.trukid.com/collections/featured-eczema-products/produ... )originated the day Jennifer Adams Bunkers, a mother of six, found two of her children using her wrinkle cream and realized that a concoction used to zap crows’ feet probably wasn’t suitable for young skin. In researching children’s products available, most were unhealthy and full of nasty chemicals, or smelled “yucky,” according to her kids.

One of the students brought bubbles to the village for the kids, but they had never used bubbles before. They usually blew too forcefully.

BUBBLES NOT BOMBS. On World Peace Day, Friday 21st September, giant bubbles filled Trafalgar Square with the message “Bubbles not Bombs”. The action was helping point out to the National Gallery that art should make the world more beautiful, not support the arms trade. Sadly, since 2006, the Gallery has been allowing arms dealers to entertain their clients and talk business in its impressive rooms. With shining, bubbly fun, we want to show the Gallery that there's no room for the deadly arms trade in our public institutions!

Communication can be a barrier sometimes with children. When the bubbles come out there's no need for words. The kids love them!

Some lovely reflections in these bubbles. They're different colours too.

All of the bubbles were popped within a few minutes. What a great effect.
