BSA M21 (1960) with Canterbury Sidecar.
Heskin Hall Steam Fair, 04/06/2012.
This 600cc motorcycle was bought by its previous owner from a props company auction in the Shetlands. It had finished filming 'Strathbair' after appearing in 'Emmerdale' and 'Brothers MacGregor'. In the 1970's this was Wally and Nora batty's combination in 'Last of the Summer Wine', when its tank was painted red. Note the extended spindles on the front wheels for performing stunts.
Returned in 2006 to its Summer Wine home of Holmfirth its present owners have given it the minimum of restoration.
