....so basically 4th day into the 365 project and I already forgot to take a picture. That's what happens when you're browsing around all day and being lazy. Ah well....that's life. Gotta learn from your mistakes. You fall...you get up and continue. You don't walk back to where you started and do it all over again. When I actually realized this today, I figured I might as well take a picture of what I was doing most of yesterday and this sums it up nicely. ;)

Yeah, Safari's JIT is better than Chrome's JIT at some things, but a lot of datatype shuffling (dates, regexps) Chrome does way better on. Must be the strategies employed by either.

i bought two books here -

a pablo neruda poetry compilation (oh, pablito)

and persepolis by marjane satrapi. they were showing the persepolis film in paris too but it was a one-time-only deal. i had checked it out from the library and really really liked it (one and two) so i decided to buy it. read it, people! it's especially relevant now.

i still need some books on my list - The Cabinet of Natl Curiosties, Odes to Common Things (illustrated and bilingual), and a Bukowski book that no store seems to have. I don't like to buy books online. i shall persevere!

My DH's PS3 has a web browser, which is kinda cool but cumbersome. I missed David Cook's AI coronation because the broadcast went over, so I had to go to YouTube. Sounded better on our TV's speakers rather than my laptop's.

Jodi was nice enough to albumize all our photos after the flood. Some are slightly water damaged, but most are good.
