A second version of the 'Broken Back', but a slightly different angle and in infrared. I miss the Kodak infrared B&W film less and less the more I shoot this FPP (Rollei) film. Developed in Tmax developer.
This cut glass shot glass was my grandfather's. I accidently broke it recently, but can't bring myself to throw it away.

Day 52 - Broken Things
Had a day out to Sissinghurst Gardens today, and luckily for me, there was this broken window.
The old railway bridge in Fort Augustus, Scotland - Just the pillars remain. One pillar, hidden in the trees, has its own tree growing from the top.
An der oberen Brücke in Bamberg. Das Haus ist in der Tat so schräg... Das Fallrohr links ist im Lot, die Strasse selbst steigt leicht an....
My broken glass ring tree. Not sure why I've still got it, but it came in handy for this week's theme. I used to have the necklace tree that went with it, but that broke years ago.
Can't even remember now how long I've had this, but it's been a very long time.
Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites.

"I like that you're broken,
Broken like me.
Maybe that makes me a fool.
I like that you're lonely,
Lonely like me.
I could be lonely with you."
-Lovely the Band
Last night i broke one of my favorite teacups
first i was in shock, then realized i never drink tea anyway
- i fill my cups with water, pretending it's tea -
now i'm wondering
should i focus on the broken pieces
or on the beauty that remains ...
This was a gift from my husband almost ten years ago. It´s a beautiful decoration that reflects on the wall, with special lights from the mirror underneath, Unfotunately it doesn´t work anymore. Also there is a crack since it was once dropped on the floor. Still I find it so beautiful and have kept it, just as it is.
Hmm to everyone!
