The sense of ownership has led to drawing lines on a map: sometimes a river, other times a mountain range, a mark on a desert,... a concrete wall or a barbed wire fence and broken glass. Too many centuries attend, undaunted, the mosaic of earth that man has created with the sole purpose of separating and limiting. And this will be the cause of so many conflicts and wars. I've been trying taking panoramic images in the woodlands, its gives a great perspective and the detail is amazing, probably not something you can see on screen, (about 160cm as a raw file) ... on a huge print perhaps..if I could afford one :)

I had another positive encounter with a neighbor on my street. These poppies are at the end of their glory days, so I decided to introduce myself to another person and explain my project and ask for them to donate flowers to it. Mike was such a great supporter. In fact, he told me I could stop by and snip flowers again without having to ask for permission. I accidentally cracked the ice when removing it from the container but decided it added interest so I kept the image and just added some additional texture in processing.
